I found this bookstore and was amazed at the range of really interesting books in German and in English. The staff had an excellent knowledge of the books, genres and different stock they carried. The reason for this review? I was excited to find that they had a book in stock that I had been telling a friend about but I had no idea how to ship it. A huge thank you to the staff for helping me get the book to its destination and for such outstanding customer service.

The only newsagents worth browsing in Frankfurt, you can happily spend half an hour in this place…read moretaking in all the international press and mags. The new lights are a bit too bright though and there's quite a mark-up if you actually want to buy any foreign stuff but that's the same anywhere. Check out their seconds-shop in the basement level shopping area for 3 euro English novels and art books.

When you're at the airport, and you're bored before your flight, what do you do? You wander around…read morethe stores and spend money that you probably shouldn't spend. I wanted to get a bottle water, and a book just incase the inflight entertainment on my transatlantic flight back to Calgary didn't work. Knowing my luck if I'm not prepared with a book that's what would happen and the other book I had with me I was almost finished. So I bought a bottle of flavoured water because for some reason it was cheaper than regular water. I also bought Pride & Prejudice because I've wanted to read that book for a while, even though I could check it out from my local library for free. The total was 9 euros, and the book was only 5 euros, so that's a really pricey bottle of water. I should have brought an empty bottle of water to fill up at the fountains after security instead. The guy working at the checkout seemed to be a pretty pissy mood and was coughing, so maybe he was just sick and grumpy. Definitely not a good first impression of this store. On the plus side when I was there they had on a song from Billy Talent, a Canadian punk-rock band I didn't think was known outside of Canada. It reminded of home and was nice to hear. So the music in the store is good, but the prices are way too high and the staff aren't that great. Try not to spend your money at the airport. Unless you have a ton of change you want to get rid of or you just don't care.

searching for English books i found 2 new releases from my favored authors. As well i saw some old…read morereleases from other favored authors. There is mostly only one release per author. I was happy to find 2 books for me. So i won't be bored to death during my next journey.
