His presence in the birth space was incredibly grounding and something I have not experienced before from a physician. His calm demeanor was felt each time he entered the room. He was honest, communicative, his touch always consented to with tender and gentle hands. My client was in labor for over two days. I strongly believe with any other provider, she would have been coerced and railroaded into a second cesarean using all the fear tactics of mainstream OBs and hospital systems. He encouraged her, and held space for her more than any other provider I have worked along side. He valued my opinion and my input as a Doula, something that I feel is not common in the medical world. I am so grateful for the part he played in my client's birth story and whole heartedly believe without his as the leader of her team she would not have had a successful Vaginal Birth After Cesarea (VBAC). If you are pregnant and open to working with a male provider in the Denver Metro area, you should absolutely reach out and interview Dr. Anselmi. He trusts women in the birth space, and believes in their power to birth their babies. It would be an honor to be in the birth space again with him. Recently, my mother's condition deteriorated to the point of experiencing suicidal ideations, exacerbated by her fragile health and mental state. Alarmingly, Dr. Trey has not initiated a necessary psychological evaluation nor adjusted Alexandra's antidepressant medication. Instead, she has persistently advocated for assisted suicide as a solution, despite the strong objections from Alexandra's cardiologist, who has refused to endorse this course of action. Dr. Trey is going to murder my mother and there is nothing we can do as my mother trusts her. Don't let Dr. Trey tend to your elderly relatives!

I was told to not ask any questions during my exam and that I should wait until he was finished speaking. When I told him that he had been rude in how he had spoken to me, his response was to say that, in fact, I had been rude by trying to ask questions during the exam. I complained to the office manager and his response was just to say he should have chosen different words to tell me to be quite. Dr Taylor is a very poor choice in doctors.
