In addition to being a photographer, Lisa is a Doula - so she is very comfortable and loving towards pregnant moms and their families. Lisa does pregnancy photography, birth photos, newborn, welcome to the world, and so much more. Her photos capture the most beautiful essence of her clients, and I couldn't help but smile as I looked through her portfolio online and on facebook. Lisa gave me wardrobe suggestions, and also had several items for me to wear for the photo session. There is gorgeous natural light in her studio, and all of the props were soft and inviting. She helped me calm down and embrace my pregnancy and the beauty of creating a little life - all with a camera pointed at me :) I didn't have professional maternity photos taken for my first pregnancy, and I deeply regretted it afterwards. I am so thankful to have met and worked with Agroterra Photography so that we could document and celebrate my belly and all of the wonders of creating a new baby! Thank you Lisa :)

I knew I would want her to do my maternity and newborn photos based upon her portfolio and beautiful skin and lighting work. During my maternity photoshoot, Stefanie used several different backdrops and clothes changes, including some with my husband. She inquired to what I was hoping to achieve but also gave good direction and placement to achieve results. The end product was more frame-worthy photos than I could decide between! She truly captured the celebration and beauty of my pregnancy. We followed back with Stefanie for our newborn photoshoot on our daughters fifth day of life. While our little girl was squirming around, Stefanie handled the time with poise and patience. Again we have so many gorgeous shots of our newborn, and even some fun mother before and after spreads. I highly recommend Stefanie for your next special photography event.

Maura could not have been better with my boy, an excitable and "wiggly" kid, who often has trouble sitting still for anything, let alone a photograph. The whole experience, along with being very productive, was just downright fun. She coaxed the carefree and happy essence out of my boy, without any problem, and was able to capture it all on film. I could not be happier with the results, and, as a matter of fact, I plan to hire Abbey Knoll Photography again in the near future for another session. Top-tier and extremely professional, yes. But more importantly, pleasant and willing to work with the subject for the best results. Thank you, Maura!!!!

She does a great job with the photographs but also making clients feel comfortable knowing that it is not a natural thing for those of us who are generally uncomfortable with our picture being taken. Her rates are VERY reasonable. She does a combination of oufits/jewelry, hair in front/to the side, indoors/outdoors. I haven't received the finished product yet but even the proofs came out nice! Tips I learned from getting my photograph taken: yes to getting my hair done and makeup professionally done. If you have long hair, wear some photos of your hair framing your face and keep it simple with the clothing - solid color and textures don't always translate. Also, keep jackets buttoned up as they can gape in an unflattering manner if you are a female with a chest. These tips have nothing to do with Maura's skill at taking photographs (she is, indeed, very skilled) but more to do with you doing your part to ensure a good end result. She is renowned for her editing abilities so I can't wait to get the final photographs but the unedited ones were really good and I am as unphotogenic as they come. If I ever need to take a professional photograph in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Maura. She was very pleasant to work with and talented at her craft. Her rates were very reasonable ($225 for over an hr photo shoot and 5 edited photogpraphs)!
