Britney met me at the door and asked me to remove my shoes. The waiting area was very small, but inviting. I sat down and waited for Carla, as I was a few minutes early, so I filled out some paperwork. Carla greeted me when she arrived and brought me back to the room. She asked me about my health history (and mine is complex) and she listened intently and asked questions along the way. When that was finished, her intuition told her that I needed the spine protocol, which is an essential oil treatment directly along the spine with different layers of oils. Soft music was playing, the lights were low, and I was wrapped in warm blankets. It felt incredible, and as I was left in there all toasty with a heating pad as the oils soaked in, I felt myself drifting in and out of sleep. I'm an insomniac, so this blew my mind. When she came back in, I was actually startled a bit, as I was somewhere between sleeping and waking. She finished off the session with energy work and hot towels, which also felt really good. When I had arrived, I was nervous and I had some pain, but when I left, my mood was obviously lifted and I felt at ease. I was singing in the car on the way home, relaxed, but with energy I didn't have when I had arrived in their office. I will definitely be back for a massage, and possibly biofeedback.
