After 35 years of a demanding career with a Fortune 100 company, I really wanted to focus on my…read morefamily in retirement. To make sure everything was on point, I hired F5 Financial to manage our Financials. I wasn't interested in hiring an advisor that only wanted to squeeze out an extra dime where possible. I wanted an advisor like Curt, who looked at things comprehensively. I like F5's holistic approach to financial planning - it's structured and disciplined, but it's tailored around our goals (like purchasing a vacation home soon). Because it's well-structured, nothing gets overlooked, and Curt holds me accountable to make sure there is follow-through. He brings a high level of integrity and responsiveness to his work, which I appreciate. I'm very happy with our financial situation and the peace of mind I get from working with F5.

I received an email today asking me to review Michael W who is with this company. Michael prepared…read moremy taxes for the year of 2022. Shortly after he submitted my taxes the IRS sent me a letter stating there was an error. I sent an email quickly to Michael and was assured the IRS was wrong. In the following months I received more IRS letters. Each one forwarded to Michael. Emails sent and phone calls made. I have kept a few of them. I then got a letter from the IRS stating they would freeze my accounts, I owed them thousands of dollars and hundreds in fines. I contacted a tax attorney, and his wife is an accountant. Within a week they found the error Michael made and ignored. I had to pay IRS not get a refund. The attorney was able to get the fines removed. I wasn't going to contact Michael again. I just wanted to forget this horrible ordeal. Then today he sends me an email inviting me to join his network and give a review. Here it is. If Michael wants to hear the voice mail he sent me I have it saved. The emails he sent? I can forward them to him. The corrected IRS papers, yes I have them. Extremely disappointed. I could've done better on my own with turbo tax.

I've been working with Sean and his team (Cheryl primarily) for over five years, and I couldn't be…read morehappier. When I began looking for someone to help me with investments and other financial services, I had a (long) but relatively basic list of criteria: Is this person: - Smart? (knowledgeable about the services they're offering, including a basic understanding of simple tax laws/implications from investment decisions) - Trustworthy? - Communicative? - Likable? - Humble? - Passionate about gaining financial freedom? - Equally as determined to help me accomplish (and exceed) my financial goals? - Dedicated to their business/their firm? Sean embodies all of these qualities, and that hasn't changed since the day I switched to him from my previous Financial Advisor. Outside of the incredible gains my money has made, I genuinely LIKE Sean. He's warm and personable and although very busy, never too busy to make time for any client who needs it. He learns what the right level of communication is for each of his clients and follows their lead in a truly exceptional way. Lastly, since switching to Sean, I've moved to California and could easily pick a new Financial Advisor. But unless something completely crazy happens, I won't. In fact, not only have I've kept my money with him, but I've increased my contributions due to the level of satisfaction I've experienced with him and his office staff. If you're considering working with a Financial Advisor but aren't sure where to start, or you have questions about how it could benefit you or your family, I would HIGHLY recommend Sean.
