Quite possibly the best pool/beach combo I have ever been to:…read more -Beautiful and well-maintained beach on Bodensee (Lake Constance) with views of the Alps -Great and huge zero-depth-entry pool for the smaller children, or for just relaxing -Large lane, swimming, and diving pool for the bigger kids and adults -Swim-in access to the indoor cafeteria area -Indoor therapy pool -Huge grassy area for relaxing and setting down your things -Good changing and restroom facilities -Cafeteria with plenty of food and beverage options Freibad Fischbach integrates all of the above swimming and relaxation options into one great and economical experience. The different options also mean that you can enjoy the place outside of "peak season" and when the weather is less than ideal. Of special interest is that the beach area has a cordoned off area for non or beginner swimmers, but then a much broader area (including several floating diving platforms) that extends hundreds of meters out into the lake. There is also a large playground area on the beach, which the kids seemed to really enjoy. Truly a tremendous pool and beach. Note that lifeguards are not present insofar as I can tell, so watch your kids and swim at your own risk. But enjoy!
