My exhaustive search ended at automotix.net where the service uses a database of used parts dealers and the prices listed for each. Fortunately, LKQ located about 70 miles away had the part and at a much more reasonable cost. LKQ specializes in refurbished and recycled engines which are held to strict standards and provides warranties against bad products and errors in workmanship. The first impression when pulling into the lot is a delapidated long standing structure, this is misleading and should not be considered. The quality of the team and the efficiency of their work made my business go smooth and easy. While I was waiting my turn, there was a service issue which perked my ears up. I do not have details, but that issue and the organization of business operations forced a one star loss. I will use their service again and wish to point out there are many conditions which are detailed online. Though they gaurantee the fit, color cannot be gauranteed. If you have the extra money and desire a complete match, Pull a part and going through a dealer is the best bet. If you are in need of a part and you do not mind if it is recycled, give them a try.

When they arrived, I went to more than 10 tire/wheel shops, and none of them had the correct equipment to properly install and balance them without scratching and ruining the spokes. Someone told me about JB's, so I went in at 8am. The owner was loud and to the point, as several cars were waiting, and it's first in, first out. Fine. He told me to come back at 8am the next day and leave the car and he would take care of what was needed. I did, and 2 hours later, he called and said it was ready. I went to pick it up, and the job was done, and they did a beautiful job. Sure, he is loud, and sure he gets folks in and out. I can't comment on the way others say they were treated, but if someone you NEED is loud and you are offended, LEAVE and go somewhere else!!! When I paid, he said, "If you have any problems, bring it back and we will get it right!!!" I spent over 4k for these wheels, including the spare and it's like having my tires wrapped around jewels! Be patient and wait your turn, and if you leave instead of waiting, YOU go to the back of the line!!! Relax...Life is too short for drama and pettiness.

    This review is incredibly late but, I want to be sure to post it anyway…read more I think, around a year ago my battery died. The posts on my battery sit positioned backwards to the batteries shown online. This made it difficult for me to figure out which battery was right for my car and it made it tough for me to communicate this to the serviceman on the phone with me. After some time and being a bit frustrated, I was lucky enough to speak with Ashton (I do hope I remembered his name right). Ashton was very patient to me and kind. He allowed me to take an extra step to help him better understand my problem and he helped me get the right battery before the end of the day. Being able to go places meant a lot to me because I spent a lot of time back then in seclusion and my routine really mattered to my good mental and physical health. I do hope Ashton has since moved on to bigger things. I hope, for him, that he is shown a million times the compassion he's shown me on the day he needs it most and I hope it happens often. Edward, the manager, took time to test the alternator for me, assuring that I could make the trip safely. He even follow-upped with a phone call to ensure I made it safely to my final destination. I called over the phone, and this little voice answered, his name was Luis. I said that I wanted to speak to the manager, but he wasn't available due to him helping another customer. I was like this is a kid, that just answered the phone he doesn't know anything. But, oh boy WAS I WRONG!!!!!!!! I began to ask questions about what I thought was going on with my vehicle because it was no longer working and it was my main source of transportation. This little voice answered EVERY QUESTION. He was so informative about things that I did not know, also explained several times because I did not understand how things worked and what parts were needed and not needed for my vehicle. He then explained in detail like Car One on One for DUMMIES. We were on the phone approximately 30 minutes. HE DID THIS WITHOUT an attitude, WITHOUT placing me on hold, WITHOUT negative gestures, WITHOUT heavy breathing, WITHOUT a tone as if I was getting on his nerves, WITHOUT rushing me, and WITHOUT cutting me off, WITHOUT hanging up the phone on purpose in my face. He was a GREAT listener! I apologized for all the questions and informed him I was so use to people taking advantage of me. He said there was no need for an apology and that he understood. Afterwards, I asked to speak to the manager and gave Luis all the praise. Two days later, I went to this same store I watched the Store Manager Roberto's interactions with other customers before helping me and Roberto was AWESOME too!!! Finally, I told him I was the customer on the phone with Luis days prior. I told him I live across town and there was an Auto Zone near my home, but I will travel to his store because of the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE that his store provides!

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I bought my first car from here when I was 21. I didn't know anything about…read morebuying a car but the salesman that helped me seemed like he really wanted to make sure I got taken care of. After a year and a half of on-time payments and a very high interest rate, I decided to refinance. I called the man that sold me my car and told him what I wanted to do. He told me to come to the dealership and he would take care of me. I called HIM because I trusted HIM. That was my first mistake. He ended up talking over my head the entire time and even brought other employees to "explain" to me what was going on. Keep in mind it was obvious I was financially illiterate, young, and broke. He ended up convincing me to trade my car in for a new version of THE SAME CAR (same year and everything). They rolled my negative equity over to the new loan. My payment was the exact same, I just had a much better interest rate. I ended up with a $38,000 loan for a car that was worth about $18k once I left the lot. It took me 2 years to realize the hole they put me in. I explained my story to a few other dealership employees I had come to know. They all said the same thing. They said that he would be FIRED for exhibiting the same behavior at their dealership. They said he was preying on me because I didn't know what I was doing. I'm still stuck upside down in this car, paying over $600/mo. Don't get me wrong, I love my car. However, I should have an almost paid off car by now, not a $27,000 remaining balance on a loan. I hope that this doesn't happen to another hardworking student that's already in a tough financial situation. I debated on writing a review at all because I've worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years. I know how a bad review can make you feel, especially when you're only getting one side of the story. But this needs to be said. Especially if it helps other people.
