After my car was totaled the car dealer insisted I use them…read morebecause they are up-and-coming and they were doing great things, but I have had very bad experiences. My phone got hacked along with my finances and my very first payment was less than a dollar short of course by accident the gentleman that called me, let me know that they were going to repo my Chevy tracks if I did not come in immediately and pay them they're $.75. I responded by saying they will take my transportation over $.75 and he said we will take it over one penny.. fast forward to a few months ago I was not able to continue working a government job. I have had for 15 years due to mental illness. I have been paying my payments timely but this month I'm struggling and I was going to use the skip a pay., in the mail today I received a denial letter because of the $.75 issue. For an up-and-coming place the customer service is terrible and I'm not talking about the bank tellers. I'm talking about anything above them. I would highly recommend you look someplace else. My request was very simple; however, I was forced to submit two copies of POAs before my request was honored. It took two weeks to find out I had to send a second copy. I would have never known that if Jory hadn't taken charge. This was an extremely urgent manner and I was getting very anxious but Jory promised he would follow it through and communicate and he did. He was excellent and I am very grateful.

If you aren't banking here, there are 3 things that you should know…read more 1. This place is the friendliest bank I've ever dealt with. They make you feel so welcome that I feel guilty walking in to any other branch. They call you by your name. They treat each customer with a high amount of respect and caring. They care about each other and about you. 2. They are extremely competent. I can't tell you how many times I've had a financial issue that I have had to deal with that they weren't helpful in. They work WITH customers, not just for them. Awesome attitude and are quick to resolve issues (usually same day if possible). 3. They are not afraid to say "I don't know, but I'll find out." I dislike banks that fake it till they make it, and this is a branch full of great staff, and are truly humble with their helpfulness. So, if you are looking for a bank, give them a try. They offer all kinds of services. Remote Teller Kiosks... Mobile Banking App... Tap and pay and apple wallet. If you don't have an account here you should seriously consider it. They are awesome!

Most of the women at this branch is always on they phones and rude to one another and customers and…read morealways have the look on they face like they smelled somethin stank. One of them is named Morgan and is the rudest and loudest of them all and even nasty to the manager in front of customers when the manager is trying to help her rude self. The manager is new and very sweet and the only one who is worth dealing wit and cares to listen and help and always has a smile you can tell even wit they mask on and solutions. The rude tellers tell the public she don't know anything but they screw up transactions and give trash service and tell you they don't know they job yet. They even trash talked the manager's xmas tree decorations and made fun of her wit customers in the place listening why she doin somethin. They could learn from they new manager is how to just be nice and her customer service and how to treat a customer right and how not to rush a slow old Black lady and how to be respectful. I hope she fires all of them or sends them back to training for what they say about her and how they treat customers and her. If they talking bad about the manager they talking about us customers too. Star is not what it use to be and has been going downhill for over a year. Hope this new manager can turn it around because I am already moving money to Beacon. I stayed because the last rude manager was gone and thought things would change but it has stayed a sorority gang up in there.
