I was told they were NEVER ordered. She said she was ordering them on same date and today is 31 March 2024 and no checks. On 1 April 2024 I am going to close accounts because the one who opened the account told the branch manager that I did not ask for checks. Both were caucasians. Who opens a checking account and don't need checks and why was I told I would receive checks in 7-10 business days and put my money in the share account when I said I stated what amount I wanted in the share account and the difference in the checking. What was I waiting for if not for checks. They are NOT honest at all. Done, done, Bad customer service in branch and on the phone.

I honestly felt that they didn't care about doing business with me & in my opinion, they weren't very professional. I will be closing my accounts & taking my business elsewhere.

Regions sucks, my elderly grandmother had someone steal from her and write fraudulent checks…read moreagainst her account. my grandmother who deals with memory loss and has impaired vision wrote maybe 3 checks a month and then all of a sudden for a year straight she was "writing" checks to the same person every other day for around the same amount of money and they never once thought hey let's call her and make sure these checks are legit. Over $80,000 in checks/loan payments were paid in someone else name that wasn't even on the account, were taken from my grandmother. This is elder abuse, and just sorry that a financial institution doesn't catch this.
