I love everything about this bank! They are extremely helpful in every aspect of our…read morebanking...personal and commercial. I would highly recommend them for any banking need. Thank you CBOPC for maintaining the hometown bank experience.

If you want a bunch of really nice people who have repeatedly failed miserably at their job this is…read moreyour bank. They are very nice people but they suck at doing their job in my opinion. FYI, I just got a call from the COO stating either remove the review or we will be closing your account. Please consider scrolling down and find how many 1 star reviews have been posted. Did they close all of these accounts because their customer service sucks? Where I come from a business would want feedback about their bad service but not Community bank....they are too worthless to try and get better.....they simply cancel you like children behave....in my opinion. See below an itemized list of the rotten service I received from this terrible bank. The below remarks are facts and can be proven via the emails I have from multiple bank employees: 1) Jan/2025 - after opening my personal checking account I received my debit card. The first time I tried to get cash back on it from Kroger I was denied. Incredibly, an obese snowflake tried to tell me that Kroger was at fault. I laughed at her and had to contact the VP of Technology & Security (Doug) to get a debit card that worked. 2) Jan/2025 - I set up auto pay for a credit card. Discover notified me that they could not retrieve their payment from the bank account because the account was closed. Of course the account was not closed and 5k was in it. I emailed Doug for assistance. He replied, "I will get back with you" but I never received another email from him about this issue 3) Feb/2025 - I emailed Doug about setting up overdraft protection and again did not get a reply 4) June/2025 - I attempted to withdraw cash from the ATM at the main branch but magically there was no cash in it 5) July/2025 - while sitting inline at the drive thru at the main branch with at least another dozen cars, I could not deposit a check. I was not asking for cash back....the most basic check transaction. But I had to go inside. NO ONE OTHER CAR HAD TO GO INSIDE. 6) Aug/2025 - I attempted to deposit 15k from my business checking account from Delta Credit Union. I had the Delta receipt. Incredibly, this terrible bank had the wrong address associated with my account. I provided my ID and debit card but they told me I needed to go upstairs and beg a bean counter to correct the issue. I refused and told them to photocopy my ID and get it corrected. The next day I went to their Big Canoe branch to try and deposit the same 15k. I got to encounter a surly old woman who has not smiled in years and could not provide customer service if her life depended upon it in my opinion. She could not confirm my address. I looked around this branch and found the same as the main branch. 5-6 women sitting at their desks helping no one - clearly indifferent if a customer actually gets any service much less good service...in my opinion. 7) Nov-Dec/2025 - I began the process of trying to open a business checking account. Apparently, despite having dozens of employees at their main branch, only one person (Michelle Logan) can open a business checking account. After two weeks of providing any/all required info I finally got an appointment to meet and sign the docs. I arrived 7 minutes late and was told to wait. After waiting 20+ minutes I left. I asked the only person in the bank who can set up a business checking account to leave the documents with any one of the 6+ people sitting at their desks helping no one. It took almost 3 weeks to open the account when it should have taken 3 days. 8) Sept/2025 - I asked Doug if I could get a ledger/print out showing the exact information they show on their website. I had to ask him three times before he finally acknowledged he could not provide the ledger 9) Dec/2025 - Magically, I could not login to their website. Finally, I resorted to changing my password because I have a basic IT background. But, as usual, I could not reset my password either. Three times when I created the new password I was denied because the worthless website stated "because of excessive time I was timed out" and had to log back into the website. I AM TRYING TO CREATE A NEW PASSWORD. HOW IN THE HELL AM I TO LOG BACK INTO THE WEBSITE WHEN I AM LITERALLY RESETTING THE PASSWORD????? I WAS RESETTING THE PASSWORD BECAUSE I COULD NOT LOGIN!!!! Also, I would estimate it took me less than 1 minute to reach the screen to create the new password but I am timed out?????? Again, Doug had to get involved and finally I was able to reset the password 2 days later. 10) FEB/2026 - I emailed Doug asking for some help regarding an online savings account. He did not reply. 11) Feb/2026 - I wrote my original review stating that everyone at these branches tries to be nice. You know....that southern charm when people say "bless your heart" when they really mean "go away"....in my opinion. It was short and sweet and accurate. 12) Yesterday, Feb10/2026 - the COO called
