The doctor also knew my mother was on a heart regulating pill and should have known that Cipro does not mix with that medicine! My mother cried and screamed in pain and the doctor solution was to put Mom on psych medicine to calm her down ! Never crossed their mind that my mother was right that the medicine could kill her. Well, my mother died at that hospital after suffering at their hands for a month and a half. I wish there was a lower rating than one star.

The hospital is well staffed, with nurses and doctors commuting, from London and Chatham. A good library if you are in for a stay. A real kitchen, very good for hospital food, but terrible coffee. They work closely with Strathroy H and the London hospitals if you need extensive help. Friendly service and care, except for one young prima donna nurse practitioner. Free parking. However, my only complaint is the 2nd shift nurse who was assigned to me (I believe her name was Ryan). When she was putting in my IV, she was having difficulty. I told her she was causing me unnecessary pain and asked her to stop and just try again in another site, but she didn't listen to me and kept trying to get it by redirecting and the site infiltrated and fluid was running under the skin. She eventually stopped after maybe one minute of that. It was painful and I had a huge black/blue bruise on my arm for the next two weeks from that. She has no concern for my pain/discomfort and was extremely rude about it. Other than that, I have no complaints. I would come here again for any health concerns, but I definitely will not let that same nurse anywhere near me.
