We have recently moved a member of the family to this facility. I spent several days in and out getting Gram situated. The staff was friendly and accomidating. They were always right there when needed. Even though the facitity is a little old it's very well kept. There were many different places for the residences to have meals as well as a few large gathering rooms for activities and visits from family and friends. Over the few days there were groups of carolers from a few area schools as well as some preschool children that put on a show. They overwork their staff and it affects the level of care for patients. Residents go 6-14 days without showers or baths, 7+ days without changing bandages on surgery sites, non-traditional diets (gluten, veggie) are "accommodated" with iceburg lettuce and two tomatoes. That's dinner. Eat up. If you can afford better, go somewhere else. If you can't, check on your loved one and be an advocate for them to the management and to the state boards of health. This is the place everyone is scared of ending up when they're old. It's terrifying. read more

This establishment is poorly run. The accommodations are very dated. The care is lacking to say the least. Our father sat in dirty pants for over 2 hours. He called us on his cell phone to let us know. We went to the center at 10pm and talked to the head nurse through the window of our fathers room. She was unaware of the nurse's aid not changing him. None of the staff wanted to accept responsiblilty in this matter. They only wanted to change him before we removed him from the premises. It is a shame that places like this are allowed to be in business. It was difficult to have our father go in to this place for physical therapy in skilled care after an amputation. But it turned into a nightmare for him and us. Additionally, when he went into the center he had 5 shirts and 10 pairs of pants. They lost 6 pairs of pants and several shirts. Covid has made it difficult to check in on loved ones on a daily basis. Therefore you are at their mercy with trusting they are taking care of your loved ones. I would never allow any member of my family to go into this place. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would because they don't deserve a single star. My grandmother went in there late august 2021 only needing assisted living due to incontinence and struggle getting around in her apartment. 2 months later, October 31st she passed away. They didn't walk her like they were supposed to, they didn't bathe her when they were supposed to. She refused to take a medicine that she thought was upsetting her stomach, so the nurse refused to give her ANY of her medications, including her heart and pain medications. When they found out she passed, not a single nurse said they were sorry. Lastly, when they called family to let us know they found her unresponsive and was going by ambulance, they asked if the should hold her bed. WHAT!? If you love your family, DO NOT let them go here!!! Our family is crushed over this. read more
