Water was offered us a refreshment and breaks were also offered as needed. Staff were all very kind and had great charisma with each other, us and other guests. I had a wonderful time receiving my acrylic French tips from "Mike". I've had my acrylics on for almost 2 weeks now, and they still look flawless. My cuticles are super healthy and the acrylics are shiny, formed and strong as ever. I don't know when I'll need to get a fill at this point because they still look amazing. I do a lot of work with my hands and a lot of relaxing -and by that I mean soaking in hot tubs. My acrylics are still set perfectly, nothing has lifted or scuffed. Will 100% be back

I literally just said " oh wow, that's not very nice" because I was appalled and also feeling very violated!! (not to mention I had just given a 45% tip...) I left and got to my car, very embarrassed and upset. I immediately called the salon as I knew the child's mother was the one who was answering the phone. I explained to her what happened and I didn't even get an apology or any type of sympathy. She just said "OK thanks for telling me." I also want to know that I wasn't the only one that this child was invading peoples space or making uncomfortable as I was in the salon for an hour and a half and witnessed more... I live an hour away from this location, and I was planning on driving every 6 to 8 weeks for a pedicure because of how amazing my experience was... Such a shame that that won't be the case. Started out with the usual foot soak and then on to the massage, hot towels and gel pedi. Super friendly staff. This place is very very clean and sterile! All of the staff wear gloves and masks and I felt very safe here. They have a huge selection of nail colors and many glitter options. Price is reasonable and I def recommend!

So it is with Salon Nouveau. I've known Jen - the owner - since I was in high school. (Let's just say that's PLENTY of years ago.) She worked for a different salon back then, and my first experience with her was an updo for my junior year prom. Since that day, I've gotten my hair cut by Jen more than anyone else. Why do I continue to have a hairdresser in Brainerd, MN, when I live in St. Paul, you might ask. Well, it's because she's that good. Whether I want her to give me long layers or chop off all my locks, perm me or give me a cool updo, I'd choose Jen over any alternative! She has a gift with hair in general, but I also love her because she has no problem working with my thick, crazy-wavy hair. I even converted my mother to using Jen - versus "whoever happens to be available when I need a haircut" - AND she uses product now. My mom. Product. See, Jen's THAT good :) Keep up the good work, Jen, and thanks for all the years of great hair!

Her service for a full set with design is top-notch. He gave me a nice hand finger massage at the end. Bryan was lovely to chat with and speaks very good English! Every client that walked in for their appointment he address them by name (even ones he wasn't the tech for that day).
