This movie theater was recently renovated to have a more elevated experience, hence the new name, Regal Bistro. The ticket prices are ok, about $20 each for a night time showing. The food prices are a little on the expensive end, but that's par for theaters with meal services. The best part of this theater is are the upgraded reclining seats. Having said all of that, the main lobby of the theater still smells like the old theater prior to the renovations. It smells dirty and old, not the most welcoming smell if you plan on eating while watching a movie. read more

I love how they revamped this movie theater! It used to be amc but now it's a regal! The chairs were super comfortable and reclinable! They have servers that come to your seats and take your order and the they bring it to you as well! Our server was spectacular! Apparently this is the very first Regal Bistro in the country and I'm glad I came and gave it an opportunity. The seats are incredibly comfortable, better than AMC theater movie recliners. The headrest move separately to accommodate your head angle and it also reclines. We got to our seats and were greeted by our server Mary. She gave us the run down of the menu and everything. Downside to this place at the moment is that they don't have a full bar YET, BUT, it will be coming soon. I don't think I've enjoyed coming to the movies as much as I did that day. A+ for me. Despite having food and appetizers other than the normal movie essentials, the theater was very clean and the seats were too. Had such a lovely time at the newly renovated Regal Bistro at the Falls. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. When you walk in, there are kiosks to the right to buy tickets and then someone scans your ticket. You then enter the beautiful bar restaurant area before making your way to the theaters. We were greeted as we walked into the theater, they helped us find our seats and someone took our food/drink order right away. Menu options in the photos. The seats reclined and were very comfy. We recently visited the newly renovated Regal Bistro location at The Falls and had an excellent experience overall. We saw Marty Supreme, and from start to finish the theater delivered. The space feels fresh and clean, the seating is comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is a noticeable upgrade. Service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. A tip for future guests: arrive early. The expanded food and drink options are worth exploring, and giving yourself extra time makes the experience much more relaxed. We ordered a variety of items including milkshakes, cheese bites, burgers, and more. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The only miss was the margherita pizza, which did not live up to the rest of the menu. Still, with so many solid options, it did not detract much from the experience. Overall, this newly renovated Regal is a great addition to The Falls. This is a nicely, renovated theater turned into bistro style. Some of the theaters are quite small and therefore the availability of seats may make it difficult if you don't buy tickets in advance. The food I have had has been pretty good. The burger was better than I expected. The sexy chick sandwich was delicious. The salad was fresh, but they were out of all the dressings that I like and this was early in the evening so that was disappointing. Service is actually excellent but I'm not sure that I like the ordering system for a few of reasons. The first is that you must use your phone to scan a QR code. This does not always work well and one time there was no QR code at my seat. Once you're ready to order sometimes the wait staff is immediately available but other times is difficult to flag them down and I actually missed the ordering window because the movie started on one occasion. Prices are movie theater high. In addition, they don't honor the discount that I have purchased, which is supposed to be good in all regal theaters for half-price, popcorn, and sodas for the whole year. Therefore, I am stuck paying the higher price with a small discount despite planning ahead and purchasing a discount. The website does not say this theater is excluded. It turns out there is a small print "terms and conditions" but if you buy the discount for the year at a theater, they don't tell you this at the time of purchase. This is the reason for the three stars instead of four. read more

I went to Regal Bistro last night to check out their new concept, and while the theater itself was a much-needed upgrade, the food was a huge letdown. First, the positives: the new seats are incredibly comfortable and the entire place looks refreshed and modern. Our waitress was amazing--super friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience better. Service was definitely the highlight of the night. We ordered two appetizers, two drinks, two entrées, and a dessert, totaling about $82. It's a bit pricey, but we did order a lot, so that part was understandable. Unfortunately, they were already sold out of red wine, so I had a white instead, and my boyfriend had a fruit punch. For appetizers, we had the pretzel bites and mozzarella sticks. They were average but decent for movie theater food, and at least they came out hot and fresh. For our main dishes, we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and bone-in buffalo wings. The wings were actually very good, though the ranch could definitely be improved. The pizza, however, was awful. The top was burnt, the dough was raw, and everything slid off when you tried to eat it. The BBQ flavor was overwhelming and just not good at all. They also didn't have some menu items available yet, like the hot honey sriracha, which we were really excited to try. For dessert, we ordered the lava cake and ended up throwing it away. The ice cream was melted and foamy, and the cake tasted like it had freezer burn. Overall, the space and service are great, and the revamp was definitely needed. But for a place calling itself a "bistro," the food quality really needs serious improvement, along with better consistency and menu availability. Nice average cinema in a very beautiful open-air mall. The location of the theatre is right smack in the middle which is great because you can go window shopping whilst waiting for your movie. There is a Starbucks right next to it as well as a Haagen-Dax's ice cream shop and a pizzeria. The theatre was clean but the bathrooms were awful. Honestly, the screens are small, and the walking path is usually on the middle, so you're never really having the very best cinematic experience, HOWEVER, the location is convenient, you have many dining options around, the image quality is excellent, very good sound, all the latest movies (well, it's a Regal, of course it would have them), and, the best of all: there's never so many people at the theatres as to make your viewing experience miserable, but always enough as to keep it "a cinema-going experience". As usual with any theatre, I recommend eating before or after, because the concessions stand will cost you more than the movie itself and all you'll accomplish is missing the dialog because of your own chewing noise (you'll need to eat after anyway). By the way: you now have to acquire the tickets AT the concession stand, which makes for an awful experience that may save them one salary, and put you in line with a lot of more people than before, but won't necessarily make you buy more of the stuff you weren't going to buy anyway. On the other hand, the Regal crown club perks apply here as with any regal, and they can go from a tiny discount to a free ticket, so there's that. read more

I have been coming to the Regal Cinema in the Falls shopping mall for decades. Yesterday I took the day off and decided to go see the newest Jurassic Park film. Let say this is still one of my Togo theaters in Miami, but I see there is plenty of room for improvement. First the positives, the sound systems and the picture quality are great. The seating are somewhat comfortable but I feel the exterior is still stuck in the 1980s. Please don't go here especially on a night like tonight! At the request of the app, we arrived early only to have to stand in a 45 minute line while watching the refreshment clerk walk slowly preparing the customers items. I get it, you probably didn't want to go to work that night, but the line should have been an adrenaline rush for you to get things moving. By the time we got to the counter, our movie had already started. There was a family before us that was going to see the same movie at the same time and they requested a refund or some sort of reprieve from all of the MESS that was taking place at that particular time. We watched as two manager types came to the rescue to help with orders made online and to start a new register. Another issue is there are so many issues that causes people to come to the concession stand for help and they "have to" see what's going on and some of the issues were so small there was no need to move the guy. The holiday season means there will be more movies that people want to see and the need for a bigger staff to suit that need. The movie theater is already falling apart why not make the customer experience a top priority. GET IT TOGETHER REGAL! read more

The selection of movies is always good. Im somehow disappointed, because even though there were not many customers, the restrooms were terribly dirty; water and toilet paper all over the floors. We had to do the concesion line just for the entrance tickets instead of having to separate lines, and It was annoying. Have to give them that the theater hall that we were in was clean. Only to have the phone ring 5 times and hang up. And you guys want almost 15 for a GD movie ticket? Well FT. I'll continue to wait a few weeks and watch the movies in 4K on my 65" home screen at my convenience and without putting a DIME in the pockets of theses ungrateful merchants who have forgotten who butters their bread and can't be bothered to pick up a GD phone. Just your average run of the mill movie theater. Generally clean, run by youngsters, shows movies. The seats (at least in the theater I was in) reclined, which was nice, but the armrests don't go up... bummer. The food is the same as every movie theater you have gone to your whole life, so no surprises. Movies are expensive here, too... it is what it is. The only special thing about this theater is that it's in The Falls, which is really lovely at night... all lit up and people out and about. Yelp must not have approved of my review. I said this is a horrible theater with a general manager who assaulted me in an empty auditorium for sexting during one of the year's worst films. I am in contact with their home office regarding this matter. (I might add that the toilets are filthy.) I assume Yelp is in cahots with them, but I've written on many other blogs about this incident so, frankly, I don't care what Yelp thinks.
