Dr Joshua H listened to my explanation and assured me he'd help. He prescribed a new antibiotic, called it in and after picking it up I headed home. Within 3 hrs of taking it my nausea was GONE! Everyday that I took it the swelling and pain went down. By the time I made it to the dentist for treatment I only had a bit of swelling and pain. The Dr knows his stuff! Price was very affordable with my insurance and the support staff were helpful and pleasant despite it being at the end of their working day. Highly recommend them!

I get that everyone is human. I never complained and continued to support this pharmacy. However, after today I am done. I need a specific medication for migraines that is taken monthly. I sent my refill in on the app like I always do. I went to pick it up and after waiting about 15 minutes they tell me I need a PA. I asked the tech, confused, "Since when?" She responded very rudely with, "Since now. You'll have to call your doctor tomorrow." I informed her that I never needed a PA before and it just seemed odd that I do now. I called my insurance and they fixed the issue right away. I go back in and they are already working on it, which is great. Then they tell me my coupon for my co-pay (which is $200) isn't working. I download a new one, activate it, and give them that. Still apparently isn't working. At this point I've been waiting inside the pharmacy for an hour and a half and they are technically closed. I'm now being told (by the same rude tech) that I'll have to try again tomorrow because... wait for it... THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. I would love to know why I wasn't informed of this from the start. Instead of being with my kids after working all day, I sat in a pharmacy for over an hour and a half for no reason. I'm officially done with Abeldt's and will be moving all mine and my family's prescriptions to Lufkin Pharmacy first thing in the morning. Editing to add: Spoke with Erika, a manager this morning. She was very kind and apologized for the situation. She made sure everything was taken care for today. I am still moving pharmacies, but appreciate all Erika did to help.

Dr. Carolyn Moyers is a caring, empathic, smart and very up-to-date OBGYN practicing out of a…read moremedical building on the campus of the hospital in Lufkin. I was pretty lucky to stumble across Dr. Moyers when I had an urgent situation that needed resolution during a trip. Her office staff are friendly and easy to work with - they make it easy to send in your records and quickly lead you through the process of getting your insurance on file, etc. Her office is easy to access (on the second floor) with lots of parking in the gigantic parking lot outside, and the waiting room is comfortable and outfitted with lots of interesting (and recent! Like, less than a month old!) magazines. But you won't have much time to read the magazines, because wait time at Dr. Moyers' office is very short. I'd been in the waiting room for significantly less than five minutes when Dr. Moyers' nurse called my name. Her nurse is friendly and easy to talk to, and their intake room is comfortable and nicely lighted - definitely not my experience in most medical offices. Once in the exam room, I waited less than five minutes until Dr. Moyers came in. She appeared to have read my chart and was able to quickly work with me to meet my needs. Something I thought would require multiple appointments was resolved in a single appointment and just a few minutes. I was EXTREMELY impressed by the professionalism and skills of Dr. Moyers and her staff. Highly recommended, I just wish she practiced where I live!
