But what did that price increase go to support? Everything was fine as far as the haircut goes. The staff was helpful and there was no wait. However, when I round up to $20 like normal, it always gave the hairdresser a three dollar tip. But now they have raised it to $18. So as I round up to $20, they only get a $2 dollar tip. It's too bad that they raised the prices, but according to the hair dresser, they did not raise their pay. So she got shorted a dollar of that money, meanwhile Great Clips gets to keep that extra dollar, and their staff get less. Great Clips, take care of your people. Everything is more expensive, but that added expense should help the people actually doing the work, as well as those owning the businesses.
