She is very professional and pays attention to what you want and not what she thinks looks good (so many Stylists do that!). I finally needed a color change after two years of a reddish brown color that I was so sick of and Ceara was able to give me a warm brown that toned down the red tint that I didn't like. I absolutely love my cut and color! My hair hasn't felt this healthy in a long time. After following her advice of getting trims every 6 weeks, my hair is finally keeping it's length and growing. And she admitted she hadn't done a spiral perm in a long time The perm is ok my real concern is my scalp is still sensitive I have chemical burns on my ear lobs and inside my ears my roots feel weird. I have had perms before so I know I'm not allergic . Never had this happen before. ,$150 perm a sore and itchy scalp.almost a week later .next time I go I'll ask for someone else to do my hair.

The hair dressers don't have their own stations, which was strange to me. I'm used to places that feel more like you're at home. Even though Maven was a relaxing experience, it still just felt really uptight, if that makes sense. I may try it again in the future, but I feel like it might just be a one time experience for me.
