There are several "Reflections" caravan parks around Brunswick heads. We stayed at one right on the river by the bridge to Torakina Beach. We were fortunate to have a tent site right on the river. The sites are squished in and you have about 6 ft between yourself and your neighbor with few trees and zero privacy. Lots of people with caravans/sleeper vans.... so if you have a large motorhome and need lots of clearance to move off the site, some negotiation with neighbors is necessary.
That being said -- the facilities at this site were incredible. Full access bathrooms. You need a code to access them to limit outsiders from using them. Laundry facilities. Walking distance to beaches (even for short legged ones). Water at all sites. Walking to town square and all services - restaurants, bakery, groceries, and chemist. ** Keep in mind - this is a small town and a lot of restaurants are closed for quieter days of the week.
In addition, we were so impressed with the community. We were car camping with a tent and found ourselves setting up/taking down with 3 kids in various unfavorable conditions (darkness, rain .... etc.)) We had multiple offers from other campers to help out and get us settled. People were really kind.
Definitely recommend this beautiful spot. read more
