I found THE PERFECT apartment. The amenities are wonderful! I watch English Premier league soccer games in the movie theatre (for FREE) on Saturday mornings on the residence site, I take advantage of the pool in the summer, the gym in the winter, and I love walking my dog around the groomed property. The staff (especially Brenda) is extremely helpful. The maintenance crew are cheerful and prompt in responding to any request you submit. I couldn't be happier with the transition. THANKS!

Also, they don't have payment plans set up, which would be much easier to pay the rent that way. Maintenance does a good job, but the office are not very helpful when I have questions. I know someone who had his apartment broken into, person used a maintenance code somehow. I have never even met the landlord either, which seems very weird.

Location 5/5. Can run the any store or restaurant imaginable within a mile of your apt. Mullet man is awesome. Always there for work with a smile. Wildlife is awesome. Will see eagles, many different duck types. Great walk around the complex. Never felt unsafe my wife nor I. Many officers live there and their squad cars are parked outside. Also have a security company at all times of the night. Complaints: quality of hired work is very poor. Will take the lowest quote worker and run with it because that's what Edward rose does and forces their complex's to do. Your water or electric will get randomly shut off in the middle of the day. The planning from the front office is horrible. When they redid the parking lots around the property you had to park a mile away from your apt. Poorly put together. Geese everywhere and are super mean. The idiots up top bought every apt complex they own automatic door locks. Have to change the batteries constantly and if you don't you cannot get in without calling maintenance. Mowing company is horrible; again a low ball company they ran with. Cost for rent is not worth it.

I have to give an updated review and unfortunately the rating is coming down. My girlfriend and I…read moredid end up renewing our lease back in January '17 and as advised by other tenants we did see a pretty large increase in rent. Increase was $75 monthly, we did find it was competitive for the area. Still really stunk to get hit for that much more at the same spot. We chose to renew mostly because it was right smack in the middle of winter and moving seemed like a huge hassle. Anyways, the major issue we had was when summer came and our building had a mouse infestation. I had multiple missed appointments and difficulties with maintenance and/or the exterminator due to bad communication with the office. Twice they entered our place setting off the Frontpoint alarm due to miscommunication and I had to leave work. The mouse problem lasted roughly 2-3 months, I caught nearly a dozen mice simply from cheap traps and peanut butter. They did provide us with a small gift card for some compensation. We ultimately got sick of the issue and purchased a home which actually worked out to be more affordable. We paid the large lease buy-out fee and left. It seemed like the office and maintenance were trying to help, but just wasn't high priority and lacked effectiveness & direction. The level of service spoke more negatively about management rather than the employees trying to help. The place is average with a good location and our experience was probably uncommon. 3 Stars

I lived here 5 years. When I first moved in....mice. Mice everywhere. Took maintenance 5 visits with mouse traps before they called an exterminator. Office didnt offer any refund, or put me up in a hotel. Im a former HVAC commercial technician and when my AC went out on July of 2016, it was not repaired for 10 days. Temp in apartment was 92-98 degrees. Maintenance staff is most commonly smoking weed on the job through vaping devices, and it shows in the quality of theor work. EVERYTHING they do is half-assed and terrible. One maintenace individual dropped a screw to my tub faucet down the drain and filled it in with caulk instead of taking 5 min to go to the clubhouse for a new screw. Complete laziness. Rent is increased every year, and you will notice that the apartment complex groundskeepers only pay special attention to the areas upfront by the office. I urge you to take a full lap around the complex before stepping in the office...you'll see what I am talking about. Finally, lets address the girls in the office. If you decide to live here, you will never in your life meet a group of women more passivly aggressive, dishonest, and vindictive. In June of this year i had my 5th orthopedic surgery of 4 years. Every month the office will work with you on payment arrangements if you are late. Of course you will have to pay the 65 dollar late fee, but they will work with you.........Unless they dont like you for addressing issues you may have with your apartment. Then....those "arrangements" go away, and their whole attitude becomes rude, offensive, and callous. They will throw an eviction notice at you in a heartbeat if you dont renew your lease, or ask with assistance with your apartment. Simply put...one of the VERY WORST places to live in Mishawaka IN, for the obscene amount of money you spend.....look elsewhere.

The staff was always friendly, accommodating, and responded quickly to my maintenance requests. In addition the neighborhood is safe and I did not really have any issues. In the summer I would regularly take walks at night as many people are out and it is well lit. There are occasional issues with sound for any apartment but in my opinion you do not hear your neighbors as much as other apartment buildings unless you are out in the hallway. The apartments are a little more expensive than other one bedrooms in the Michiana area but you are paying for the popular location. I feel the price is worth the assurance of safety and reliable property management. During the heavy snow fall this past winter the staff was out plowing the drive at 2am unlike University Park where my sister lived at the time. I would recommend it to my friends.

Keith, my favorite person, who ensures the place looks amazing. Everyday I see him working his tail off to make this place look and feel like the luxury apartment complex it is. All of my issues are addressed quickly and professionally! Keith has been so patient with me as I move in and have requests for things. He's genuine, kind and makes sure I'm happy. Best part about him is how kind he is to me and my fur babies! I trust him in my place and with my dogs when I'm not home. Kelsey was also amazing during my leasing and move in. She was prompt and professional with my millions of emails. She's also my neighbor which makes it cool to have a real resident as a leasing agent who can be honest and passionate about the area. 2. The location is amazing. The community is professional. No sketchy people and everyone's cars are in good shape. 3. The place is so clean. Pool area is beautiful, gym is always spotless and the parking lot is always clean. The landscaping is perfectly manicured and they do a great job making the place look sharp. 4. They are very dog friendly and have the best pet clean up areas I have ever seen. Most of the neighbors enjoy my big ole hounds and it seems that almost everyone has a pet, which is awesome. 5. They do a great job keeping stray walkers out. Being so close to the downtown area, I was worried that there would be more people that walked around they didn't live her. That's simply not happening. Even being along the river walk, people stay on course and mind their business. I have no concerns of theft with my outside decorations and furniture. 6. I feel safe. Period. They make sure the place is lit up and the presence of the police officers that live here is a sure plus. I highly recommend this place. I have a very large, updated, beautiful, spacious apartment which almost feels like a condo or villa, not an apartment.

Great…read morelocation, 5-star apartments, wonderful village and stores on the first floor where you can be a part of a neighborhood. Our only real problem was with the maintenance/administrative peeps. This business appears to be getting too big for its staff. When we moved in there were maybe 200 or so apartments - and lovely ones at that. Since then they have built an addition on the south end that probably doubles the number of apartments; now they have another add-on going in pushing the number even further. Our biggest problem is being able to talk to someone - not just leave a message. They are understaffed and overly busy. It was move out for us and we actually did get to talk to an office person - and we set up an appointment for 2 pm to do the final walk-thru on Thursday when leaving. When there we were running late and asked to push it an hour to 3 pm - of course, no one answered the phone so we had to leave a message. Long story short, no one shows up at 3 pm...nor at 3:30 or 4 pm. By 4:30 after calling and leaving a number of other messages we just left. No idea how we'll now do a walk thru but their telephone answering skills are terrible. They just waste their customers time. So in sum the apartments here are all 5 star - this is a great apartment complex and full of opportunities and amenities. The administrative people are always hard to get a hold of, so that is a problem. The one bright spot is Christine - but use email to get a hold of her. Maintenance is spotty - one of the guys we worked with is Larry - a real fine guy...if he promised something he kept his promise, and if he said he would be there at a certain time he was. Larry was tops, but the rest of the maintenance staff left a lot to be desired ... not the least of which is showing up when they said they would. So we will continue calling and see what they want to do for a walk-thru close-out. 5 star apartments, 3 star admin and maintenance staff, not respectful of their customers time ... giving it 4 stars.
