Got me in last minute before New Years! Lana did an amazing job. I showed her a picture of a shaved back/sides and longer textured top. She matched it perfectly. Very meticulous and skilled. Everyone is super friendly as always here. 5/5 every time. read more

Excellent service and attention to direction. Not afraid to point out the best thing for hair. Love the hot beard treatment!

Best barbershop in the area you won't be Disappointed the best barber is KHALID i he has cutting my beard/hair sense they open this place on Exit 17 read more

Terrible experience, went in for a trim on my beardd. Was very specific about just straightening it up and cutting split ends and giving an edge. She used the clippers over and over and removed inches and a bald spot under my chin that I saw on way home. Not to mention she had to call another barber over to help finish the original shave. How can you have a barber who needs help workIng on paying customers faces. After seeing bald spot I i turned around and went back. The gentleman who originally helped her finish the first time was very nice and cleaned it up by cutting it even shorter. (Not his fault) He tried to go I've me gift cards for 2 free cuts. I didn't even take them. The fact that he felt it ok to charge me anything for wwhat happened was insulting and showed the character of tthe shop. They're just looking for a dollar and will let anybody work there to fill read more

Recently moved back to the area and had to give in and find a new barber. Checked out reviews and decided to give American a try.. score. Walked in, expecting a little wait, I signed in and my butt didn't get to hit the seat as I was called back. I never like the first visit to a new barber, you usually describe what to want never knowing for sure how it's going to turn out. I got lucky on all counts.. I'm Leary of mentioning the name of who cut my hair for fear of increasing my future wait times... But I feel I need to give snaps to Steven. I'll be returning.. well done Steven. read more

I have been going to Amanda for a couple of years now and I have never had a reason to complain with the service that I received. She is polite and professional everytime I show up for an appointment and does a phenomenal job. The space is clean and comfortable. You are greeted when you come in the door. Overall a great experience. I tried a couple of the other barbers before arriving at Amanda. They also did top quality work, but Amanda knew what I was looking for in my haircut. read more

Great spot. Some of the barbers can be hit or miss but over all I've always been attended to very quickly. I recommend finding a few barbers here you like and request them when you come in. Sandra has been awesome and the majority of the staff are very friendly. Parking can get busy with a pizza place and auto parts on either side. Men's cut = $22 + tip read more

I've gone here every 3-weeks for 12-18 months. Ventage barber shop. Comfortable chairs. And they blow the hair off you with a compressor. Leyla is very talented and pleasant. She has an eye for how men should wear their hair. I consistently like how she makes me look. Now, Reesha will cost you more than Great Clips. If 'cost' is your primary criterion, you should continue to get an ultra-basic cut at Great Clips. However, if you want to look your best for that Spring Break, Cancun, Dominican Republic, that meeting with the important client or tonight's 'Netflix and Chill' (no judging!) - Reesha is worth the investment! :) read more

I have been looking for a new barber since moving to the area. Today, I decided to take myself and two of my son's in for a haircut and I believe we have found our new spot. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. My youngest was a huge fan of the decor. Overall, a finding quality barbershop that I can share with my boy's is a wonderful experience and will be a return customer. The only suggestion I would have for the owners would be adding an area where the fellas could grab a drink and play a round of billiards for a longer experience. read more

This is the best and very friendly atmosphere everybody there knows what they're doing very good stylist barbers and even if they had problems with a certain haircut there's always another barber that will come around and help the other Barber to make sure you walk out there happy and satisfied and that's the way you want a salon to be read more

Very good spot. Great work and quality for a VERY reasonable price. Not too many little kids and 70's / 80's music is good. Ask for Khalid read more

We walked in without an appointment and were immediately sat. The stylist listened to what I asked for & did a wonderful job on my kiddo's hair. He's quite particular, but he was very pleased! read more

I finally found a place where all my barber need are meet. They have an amazing staff, the ambience is super nice and the prices are very reasonable. read more

I started going to the All American Barbershop shortly after it opened and had great experiences. Even after I moved to Florida I would wait until I could get back to Georgia to get a trim. But now everything has changed, none of the original staff is there, like Ben, who gave great shaves and hair cuts. Now it seems the staff doesn't know what they're doing or how to cut hair or worse, how to shave a man's face. I recently had a terrible experience with my hair cut and shave. Needless to say that's my last visit there. read more

Been going here for 6/7 years as American Barber Shop, new owner ship switched to Reeaha it has been going down hill and today was final straw. It was a mix up but the fact that the ones running it really struggle to communicate as English is their second language, which I am trying to make it work but nah! read more

Went there one month ago and was very unhappy with the haircut and price. Won't be going back again. When I went in lady in first chair on left of counter asked if I had an appointment, I said no and she proceeded to tell me to sit down in her chair. She seemed agitated which should have been my first indication of not having her cut my hair. Then she was rushed and cut my hair like it was a contest. Did not straight edge shave my hairline to make it tight. Mind you I am a 60 year old man balding and not a lot of hair in the first place. So it wasn't a difficult cut. Then she had the balls to charge me 40 dollars for a ten minute cut with a number one adapter. Then electric shave my hairline. First time there was stellar. This one carved it in stone that I will no longer return. Especially since I went there from Flowery Branch where I live. A lot of other hair cutters closer. It's sad that was such a memorable experience lace the first time. Sorry for the honest review. But her service and the price was unforgivable. read more

Not welcoming. Strange, as the one on Peachtree Parkway is so welcoming. They need to remind themselves that customers coming in the door for a haircut are a good thing for their business, not an inconvenience. read more

I was so excited to see American Barbershop coming to North Forsyth! I have been taking my son to the exit 13 local for the past several years. Took the boy yesterday to the new local and same great service, and same phenomenal haircut! He absolutely loves the attention to details this establishment provides-- especially the Hot Towel! read more

Wonderful place! My wife has been going for about 3 years and she's always been extremely pleased with how her hair turns out! Ben is her main barber, but she has used other barbers there and they're all talented and have amazing personalities! I've been going for about a year just to get my hair trimmed with Ben as well and it's always AMAZING! Most of the time we schedule appointments, but even when we go without an appointment, the wait is never too long. The atmosphere is perfect and the aesthetic is awesome as well. If you're looking for a "new spot", don't hesitate to check them out! read more

Khalid messed my hair up so bad that I was crying in the chair. I gave him simple directions of how I want my hair to be faded and he didn't listen. He shaved off half of my head when I wanted a SIMPLE mid fade. I am now left looking like a got a half done buzzcut. Khalid was my man before he gave me this horrible haircut. Now I have to explore the sea for more/better barbers. read more

This is the worst barber shop I've been to in my life... I walked in to be greeted by a rude manager that seemed like he didn't even know the the concept of customer service. I sat down to meet a barber that seemed to be his first time ever giving a haircut. I should have already left by now.... but I decided to stay. I asked for a fade and shave... I walked out with a line in the side of my head and my neck cut up to the point it looked like I had a noose around it... I would highly encourage everyone to steer clear of this establishment.... read more

My brother raved about this shop once his wife found it off a review on a Facebook community post. While I was in town visiting from KC my brother stated we are going to a life changing barber shop. And he was 100% on point. The staff was amazing. The shop was outstanding. The barber gave an amazing fade that I am beyond happy with. I wish they were in KC as I have four sons that would also be frequent clients. I will have to settle for trips when I am back visiting! read more

I visited here a few weeks ago hoping to find a barber I could trust. I've been going back to my barber in Greenville, SC for quite a few months when I'd visit the office which wasn't ideal. Most people know that I'm super picky about my haircuts and I like using the same person over and over. I'm one of those who's used the same person for years. I can easily see that happening at American Barber Shop. Pricing is on par with other barber shops I've used and not overly priced at all. I'm sure you can find cheaper but the quality is there and the shop is a great environment to be in while you wait. They've got sports running on a TV constantly. read more

Wish I could give this place 5 stars but I can't. Only reason I'm giving them 2 is because of the manager, which I forgot his name. The woman on the far right back chair completely messed up my sons hair and that's with me showing her pics and telling her not to go up too high on the fade because if she did it would look more like a military flat top. The manager even agreed that she messed up and he at least didn't charge for the cut. All she would say to me was "talk to the manager about it" read more

My husband and 5 year old son started going here a few months ago and so far so good. Their haircuts have looked great, the prices are really reasonable, and they are usually able to walk in and be seen immediately. My husband is pretty picky and has done his own hair for years but he's been quite satisfied with American Barber shop. 5 stars from the men in my family. read more

I have been going to the exit 13 American barber for 2 years now and happy to see this new location off of Keithbridge Road exit 17 next to autozone and Marcos pizza. So far I am able to catch some of the same guys that have cut my hair at the exit 13 location and will be coming here more often now that it's closer to my home. Best barbers in cumming! read more

Conveniently located, fast, and high quality. I walked in without an appointment, but have a short wait as they had a number of barbers. I got a Master Barber, Mona, and received the best haircut in years. Haircut comes with a straight razor neck shave and a spritz of aftershave if you want it. They also offer head shaves. read more

Khalid is the best barber that you will find in the area. I started going to him 4 years ago when he worked at a shop in Alpharetta and have followed him to his new place in Cumming. Although it is a bit of a hike for me now, it is well worth the drive. Khalid pays close attention to detail and always provides you with an excellent cut. His new shop is something that you would see displayed in a magazine. I would not think about going to anyone or anywhere else. read more

Great place to get a real haircut! Khalid he is the man very professional! The atmosphere of the spot is very classy, highly recommended!

AJ has cut my hair twice in the last 8 weeks and his work is excellent. I moved here to Forsyth 17 years ago and never could find a good barber, so had resorted to just buzzing my hair off each time it was needed. I'm now a regular customer at American Barber Shop at Exit 17. read more
