Despite being a little small, this store is organized and clean. It is easy to shop. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. I have seen some pretty cool items in here and various things that would make great gifts. They have beautiful rocks and gemstones, which really interests me. There are also other collectible items. Captain McFinn also has a huge stuffed animal selection, and there's no doubt you can find anyone's favorite animal if you're looking for a gift. I would like to note that the prices are a bit high, but everything seems to be pretty good quality. If you're at the Eastwood Mall, Captain McFinn is worth checking out. It may appear as a children's store when you see the cartoon theme in the window, but it actually has really cool finds for anyone.

I also adore their beautiful clothes they now carry. If they had sold these when they first opened I would have needed 3 jobs! They are just so beautiful. I recently took my great niece shopping for her birthday outfit there and bought her a beautiful stuffed owl. We could not be more pleased and I am glad after all these years they are still around. It's been a long time but when my now 16 year old was 8 we had one of the best birthday parties we ever had in their then brand new party room. It was the best ever!

This quilt shop is Amish-owned, so it has no phone number or website…read more When my husband and I first arrived at the shop, the front door was unlocked, and we saw no employee inside. Many minutes later, an Amish woman entered the store, I assume to assist us if needed. My husband and I ended up returning a couple of hours later to look again. We saw a variety of handmade Amish quilts as well as pillows, home decor, aprons, straw hats, dolls, greeting cards, wooden birdhouses, and much more. The quality looks to be very good. I did not see many tags with prices, but the prices that I did see looked OK.

But I really did want this, as they are fairly rare to come across in person. I would have been willing to pay $50 a box, but the employee told me there was absolutely no wiggle room. When I told him the value of these is always less than $40, i was told that "Yeah but when they came out they were going for more" Product will always go up and down, these guys have no problem when it goes up. But if it goes down, they wont change their sticker price and are unwilling to accommodate. They would rather (maybe eventually) scam their own customers.

I visited this quaint little town (Volant) from Cleveland in July 2021 over Independence Day holiday weekend. INSIDE -- It is a small shop but big enough where you can move around. TEA -- I don't drink coffee so as an avid tea drinker, I was happy to see the assortment of teas sold here. I bought a gourmet Rooibos tea which is a red herbal tea found in South Africa. There are only 15 tea bags inside and I remember the price was quite expensive. I actually grew up drinking Rooibos tea in South Africa and it is definitely an acquired taste but I love it. This particular blend of Rooibos is made out of Smith's Teamaker in Portland, Oregon. I highly recommend buying it if you enjoy tea. FUDGE -- Soft, chewy, and homemade. They offer free samples so one of the employees offered me a sample of some fudge and it was delicious. I forgot the type that I had but it may have been chocolate flavoured. I didn't buy any fudge because I was on a budget and I had already spent money at other shops. **** - 40/150 total reviews in 2022 - 518 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 3 April 2022
