He was able to take 6 for a banana boat ride while 2 sat in the boat and took pictures. We had 11 people for the banana boat so he made 2 trips for us. Everyone had a great time from the youngest (5 yrs.) to grandma and grandpa. Keith was so accommodating to all the needs of our large group and everyone liked him so much. My husband and boys went fishing and caught a couple fluke. The boys were excited to catch a couple of crabs and robinfish as well. We definitely felt like VIPs and we will only use Fire Island VIP for our yearly vacation from now on! Thanks for a great time we all thought it was awesome!

It's to the right of Nicky's, completely unmarked, so a bunch of us waiting for the boat congregated together to figure out if we were in the right spot (we were but...again, no signage). The boat was a half hour late picking us up with zero communication made to each of us who paid almost $100 PP. We're unsure if this is Shoreline's issue or GSB so while all of us were annoyed we decided okay well we'll still see the sunset, we'll be fed, and we'll have beer to drink. The crew was very friendly and careful as we were boarding. From the outside, the boat looks tiny but once you're actually on it it's pretty roomy for 40 people give or take. We grabbed a seat inside where there are windows you can easily open or close to see the water. A bunch of folks crammed into the front of the boat (outside) but we didn't feel like being packed like sardines. Plus the bar and food are inside. The bar is right as you walk in so it gets a bit crowded until things calm down. Eventually we were able to get a beer and relax. The boat ride was a total of about 2.5 hours with views of Fire Island, Jones Beach, and a bunch of other boats floating away on the water. The beers were cold, the food was delicious, and the crew was so friendly and helpful. As much as it sucked to not know if we were in the right spot and zero communication and/or signage it still ended up being a great boat ride showing one coast of Long Island. If you want to know if the boat is running late you can call Fire Island Ferries but keep in mind they cannot give you an ETA past the point of saying, "they're running late, that's all we know".

We have chartered a private fishing trip…read moreevery year and were excited to get on but when we got there the owner and captain were rude and disrespectful. They asked for the money up front( which is not normal) complained about us having alcohol. After having words with him he told us (33 people plus kids!!!) he would not take us out. Then after everyone got off the boat he said he would take us for free because he knew he was wrong.He judged us based on how we looked. I have never felt so disrespected in my life! Such a disappointing experience. Thank God we were able to get on with another boat ..(The Fishfinder) and had an awesome night!!!! They were so friendly and we caught a couple of fish!!

He made certain that we were fed always providing a box of Popeye chicken with biscuits giving us a bottle of water and soda and walking around the boat asking is everyone okay. Fishing buddies of America has seen a lot of members come and a lot of members go. I was very happy to be a part of a fishing trip that took place in North Carolina on a 24-hour fishing vessel where we caught lots of Vermilion snappers the size limit and the limit for two days as well as Grunt and triggerfish. It was my first experience and a great one. It's sad to say though in 2018 Mr Ernest Fernandez passed away. He does have friends of fishing buddies of America who are running their own charters as a matter of fact there is a trip on June 9th the boat is almost full will be a dedication to miss the earnest Fernandez will we will dedicate to the sea memories of mr. Fernandez. I think that is a great way to pay homage to him. We will also fish on this day in memory of mr. Fernandez for one of his favorite fish porgies. I can see the smile on this man face now catching two parties at one time. Nonetheless great man and a great time I had with him fishing with fishing buddies of America tightlines forever mr. Bonnie Lynn is an incredible boat, with Erick and Hannah the perfect hosts. I can't think of a better way to introduce people to, and share with them, the beauty of the North Fork. Living on Long Island definitely has its perks. We went on a seal tour this past Saturday and we…read moreloved it! It was a gorgeous Winter day especially for end of January. We got to observe so many beautiful seals in their natural habitat. I don't like seeing any animals in captivity. The Captain and crew were great. The captain knew exactly where to find these beauties and observe them without being an imposition. The cabin inside is heated and they offer coffee, hot chocolate, sodas, hotdogs and lots of snacks. You can also bring your own. The whole experience was 2 hours. Would definitely go back in the summer for the whale watching which I was told is 4 hours long.

The boat seems a bit old but solid. I will echo what many have said about the food onboard. We didn't have any. Also no drinks for us. It was rough seas so not sure how they would settle. We did not see one whale in 4 hours. I know it is not the guys on the boat's fault but it was a bummer. Riding around on the boat for 4 hours hot old after the first 2. We left a little disappointed.
