The shrimp were served with a heavy thousand island dressing and was too heavy and sweet for my taste. The prosciutto was fine. A tall hefeweisen beer and I was in a good mood. Main course was a steak. For some reason, they took a nice steak, cubes it and drenched it in gravy with mushrooms. I was totally jealous of my buddies with a normal full steak. The burger was completely average, when the server took my order I wasn't asked how I like my burgers cooked. It was way too well done for me and there was no pink at all. The burger was also very dry and seemed to have lost a lot of flavor. The bun was very mushy and would have been a lot better toasted. In addition, the lettuce on the burger wasn't rotten but was on the older side. It was a decent place to rest on a trip while having nothing to do, but I wouldn't eat at Buttershaker unless I was in the same situation again. I definitely would not recommend the burgers, and my friend did have a salad that she enjoyed.

The filet and herb butter was great! The fries were eh. I should have ordered the baked potato with sour cream. The gentleman next to me ordered it and it looked delicious. A lot of sour cream, but I am sure you can ask for it on the side. If I am ever in the area again I would love to take my husband to this restaurant.
