Reed's Barber Shops - Barber at work on a Friday - Barbers Near Me - St Charles, Missouri

I use to go The style shop which is now Reed's Barber Shop. Reed took over the Style Barber Shop several years ago. Been going there ever since then. The LAST time I went there, Reed cut my hair and it was terrible. There were several 'NICKS' in the back and it was noticed by two separate people. One was by my neighbor who stated ' what happen to the back of your hair'. The next one came several days later and it was noticed aby my brother-in-law. He said it looks like the barber who cut you hair had been drinking. Don't go to Reed's! read more

Great cut, great service. I've been getting my hair cut from the same dude every two weeks for over 4 years (military, or else it would be longer) and I F'd up and didn't get a cut right before the holidays. Woke up this morning and didn't like what I saw in the mirror (beyond the face) and decide to get a fre$h cut. Reed's is worth the stop, I didn't even know what I normally get, as I haven't had to ask in years, which makes me a huge pain in the ass in the Barber world. But, the nice lady got it done, and I'm happy with my cut. read more

Reed's Barber Shops - Barbers Near Me - St Charles, Missouri

Let me first say that this is a place of class. I've lived down the street from this place and never pulled the trigger. I've been going to a ton of haircut places and I was looking for a place to give me a haircut without the unnecessary shampooing. Reed's is located off Central School Rd. It's a small barbershop in a little strip mall that is visible off the road. Nothing flashy, just a strip of small businesses which I love. The interior of the shop is clean and classy decked out in blues, motorcycle and other "manly" things. The vibe is just friendly from the start and you can feel that they aren't just there to take your money. I know men's and women's cuts are completely different from one another but having a men's cut here is money. You don't have to pay $25 plus just to get a good haircut and not sacrifice. Now let's talk about Ed. I called for an appointment on the same day and he got me in somehow. You can tell he's a busy guy that's on a schedule. I think it's cool that you can just shoot him a text to schedule and keep in touch. It's very personal. He makes the haircut enjoyable but talking about sports, life and by the time you know it you're looking at a fresh cut. I highly recommend Ed. Overall this place rocks if you're a guy and as I've stated multiple times earlier, it's a men's haircut without the bs. I will be back! Thanks for reading.... read more

1st visit was okay- I got a decent classic cut from the gal that had dark hair & olive skin. I already came in with a chip on my shoulder because I'd had bad cuts elsewhere, but she reminded me she was a barber and she was able to give a clean even style, with a buzzed in hairline. So I aimed to come back. 2nd visit -- I left the shop biting my lip at how terrible my hair looked, blonde gal was too busy bullshitting and not focusing on the job that she legit ruined months of shaping and growing and setting in- I had to come back the next day and have her even everything out into an f'ing Caesar cut- just so it could grow evenly-- I wanted a classic '40s long on top look, she chopped the front of my hair down to an inch.. idk wtf she was thinking if she did a cut that bad blatantly on purpose. This will take me have an f'ing year to grow back out -- and I'll still have to go someplace else to style it because she didn't even give me an even Caesar cut-- a Caesar cut! How do you f that up! Gentlemen-- truly, go somewhere , anywhere else if you want a professional to give you a handsome cut. If you want to look like a dog for half a year, come to these groomers here at Reeds... read more

Stopped by Reeds today on my way home from work. Decided I wanted to go a lot shorter then normal and pulled up a few pictures of what I was looking for. This was my sons first barber shop experience. At 11 he has outgrown great clips and they tend to be hack jobs. Lisa was great with him and made him feel comfortable. The price of $15 was very reasonable and worth the trip to this barber shop. This will be his new place going forward. read more
