I first went to this store to ask questions relating to the problems that my brother's phone had,…read moreand over the course of my three visits, the workers there have been very helpful, informative, and honest. My brother's Motorola 2023 G+ Razor phone had a lot of problems and it was mostly broken and unfunctional. However, when I asked a bunch of questions about potential pricing, costs, and specific repair procedures, the woman that I first met was very informative and though the pricings she initially listed were off, she was sympathetic and understanding of my brother's phone condition and the situation he was going through. It was also perfectly fine for her to not know the exact or even an approximate price range to repair my brother's broken phone because she did not see the actual state of my brother's phone, and I believe that she does not do repairs. Later that same week, which were in two more separate days on the same week, I took my brother to this store for further evaluation and for a more realistic price range to possibly repair his phone. The person was a guy, and based on how he explained the procedures and the pricing, it seemed like he was one of a few people in that store that does hands on technology repair. Me and my brother first thought that the cost range to fix his phone would be around $300-400, but it came up to be up to around $680 instead, given the extensive damage that his phone had with not only his screen, but also internally and the cracks around it. The guy told us that he will have to basically reconstruct his phone entirely. Unfortunately, we did not go through with his phone repair given how expensive and possibly costly it may have been to do all that reconstructing. However, the guy that answered my questions in more detail was very patient and understanding; he did not rush me and he only wanted me and my brother to make the decision that was good for us. He even gave us a few days to think about it and gather our thoughts. Even though my brother's phone was not fixed there because of how much his phone has been damaged, I recommend Flash Fix for any customer who feels nervous, concerned, and uncertained about their phone or any other kind of technology. Your questions will be thoughtfully answered, and they will be completely honest to you about pricing and procedure the whole way through. If I ever felt like my own phone broke apart too early or if there is some sort of other problem that causes it to malfunction, I will absolutely return to this store to get it checked out and fixed.

It used to be a sort of unfriendly experience and the people behind the counter had a take-it-or-leave-it attitude which usually meant I left because they didn't have a part I was looking for. But my most recent experiences there have been a lot better. The guy who helped me buy a replacement charger for my laptop offered me a bunch of different options and because the only power cable that fit my device was a bit damaged, he fixed/improved it free of charge. I came back the next day with an old external hard drive with a cracked case and he opened the case and gave me a bunch of different options for replacing it, buying a new power supply to see how it worked, and so on. He took his time to find genuine solutions for me that didn't cost an arm or a leg. They also have an internet cafe (meaning public computer access, not coffee and tea) there now so people can print stuff out and check their email. I'm very happy to have this place around the corner from me. No more schlepping into Manhattan for parts or repairs!

I initially contacted this business to ask if they sold and programmed car keys, as I had lost one…read moreof my original keys over the years. The owner told me he could both provide and program a replacement. He explained that I could choose an aftermarket key, which might cause a dashboard warning light that should go away, or I could choose an OEM key that he would source from the dealership, which would cost more but would not cause any issues. Wanting to avoid any headaches, I chose the OEM option. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When the key arrived, I scheduled an appointment to have it programmed. At first, everything seemed fine--the remote started the car and unlocked the doors without issue. However, once I drove away, a red key warning light appeared on the dashboard along with a "keyless entry malfunction" message. I immediately contacted the business and was told to give it two weeks and that the issue would resolve itself. Two weeks later, the light was still on. I returned to the shop, and the owner instructed me to disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and reconnect it. I did this and waited another two weeks, but the problem persisted. When I returned again, I was told the issue might be the remote batteries and that I needed to replace them and reintroduce each key--both the original and the newly programmed one--one at a time after disconnecting the battery again. I followed those instructions and spent additional money on new batteries. At this point, nearly two months had passed. Now BOTH remotes(my original and their replacement) function intermittently. If the car does not unlock, I have to manually open the door with the cut key, disconnect and reconnect the battery, and then start the vehicle. I returned to the business and simply asked for a refund for the labor so I could take the key to the dealership and have it programmed correctly. Instead, they refused and I was berated. The interaction was especially upsetting because my toddler was with me at the time. I feel like I got scammed here. I paid for parts and labor, and now I have to go to the dealership to fix the issue they created. Everything ran fine till he started "programming" his remote. I hope others have better luck. UPDATE: 12/23 went to the dealer and fixed the issue. I ended up getting a new remote and a reprogram of all the keys including the original vehicle key(when I purchased the vehicle). I attached a printout from the dealer stating "incorrect component installed" as per their system which was what this business installed and gave me all the issues. So the premium I paid for the "OEM dealer factory" remote/key at the store was not actually all OEM. What a joke. Huge relief the dealer fixed their mess and the remotes work. Should have went to the dealer from the beginning, I would have saved money, a headache and the embarrassment.
