The best brewery that we tried in Sydney. Pete was our main bartender and he was extremely helpful. The wide array of beers is something that was oddly missing in most other breweries and brewpubs in the city. They have a good kitchen as well. We ordered the fish and chips, they tasted excellent.

This review is based off the beer only and not the food. It is a small pub with some semi exotic or more old school brews. Exactly what I love tapping into some of the best types of European and American beers from around the world. They do not try too hard to be too hip, it's an honest beer bar with some very informative information on each brew taking away most of the guess work but allowing a pleasant surprise.

Cute place. Quite pricey for a small burger but it was late and I don't have many choices left... Good selection of craft beer though. Didn't know tipping was *not* required in OZ... (no wonder the waitress gave her manager a dirty look - at first I thought the 10% her manager quoted was too low) now I felt stupid applying the American standard here. (perhaps the waitress is shooting her manager the dirty look for not asking more? only God would know) Probably should order another beer instead :/

Nice pub with a good selection of boutique beers on tap. Good atmosphere and pretty good food, but everything is quite expensive. Friendly and helpful staff who are able to make good recommendations. Good decor helps to add to the atmosphere

This place is SO wonderfully close to our hotel (the Grace Hotel)! Terrific vibe-- hip but welcoming. Cozy. Menu interesting but not too overwhelming. I appreciate the veggie options. GREAT LOCAL CRAFT BEER!

    Nice, but...

Nice place to hang out with pretty good food and a friendly staff. The beer is pretty good and you can tell it's trending upward.

This place has a very definitive after work atmosphere. You come here for a few, get your night kickstarted then move somewhere else. They do have a great selection of beers; cluey + friendly staff; great vibe because everyones just knocked off for the week; Also the infamous Kraken rum resides here! Downsides? No three sheets pale ale even though it's on the menu. The Q tends to be a bit on the pricey side. It's one of those not enough staff too many patrons places so lines are lengthy and spills tend to linger... longer... I've done the upstairs gig a couple of times. Rooftoppy, nice view, and good amount of intimacy. Downsides there is very limited bar (unless you want to haul yo fat ass up and down the stairs all night) and it's even pricier (ultra kick in the guts when that work tab runs out!) Never done the food here, wouldn't know where to get it, or whether it's worth getting.

We did not have a reservation, but they fit us in as a walk-in at a small coffee table with 2 ottoman seats. Not the most comfortable set up, but I appreciate the cozy atmosphere, almost like you are sitting in someone's very posh and dimly lit den. All the NOLA classics were featured, like Vieux Carre (no likey), old fashioned (likey), and hurricane. There were some twists on the classics as well. I liked the newer house specialties, and ended up having 3 drinks, more than I intended. We snacked on some popcorn chicken, which was nothing special, but very satisfying when hungry. We were also lucky enough to be there when the live jazz band played a brief set, which really set the mood. I took off a star because not every drink was a homerun, and the service was a bit too impersonal for a speakeasy. We had a different server each time. One of my favorite parts of going to a speakeasy is to watch the bartenders work their magic and ask them for recommendations, and if I'm lucky, maybe get an off menu drink. Not quite set up that way here.
