You can set up camp, ride mountain bike and Equestrian trails or hiking in CRP. For mountain bike and equestrian trails, go to Parking Lot #3 known as North Park Entrance. For hiking, go to Parking lot #2 or Main Park Entrance. For camping go to Parking Lot #1 or Campground Entrance! You must register for camping and have a campsite assigned to you or your group! BBQ pits and benches are available. There is a lodge with a kitchen and ice machine that can accommodate up to 80-100 participants. Before you go to CRP, make sure you call and plan out your activity ahead. Some trials may not be available in the raining season. Check your mountain bike to ensure they are in excellent working condition as there is an advanced or more difficult biking trials. No dogs or alcohol are allowed in the park! Caloosahatchee Regional Park is a hidden gem in Lee County! Bring plenty of water and enjoy the nature, hiking or camping!

I…read morehad submitted a contact form and within a couple of days I received a call from Natalie, which is the park manager. She was very professional articulate and knew the property very well. I set up a time to take a look at it, and she was there at the exact time at her office that we had preplanned. She was extremely busy with some other issues, but, she took as much time as I needed to see what the entire park was about. I was very pleased with cleanliness and the rates are very reasonable. The sites are concrete, very level and the site that I have rented it has a storage shed on it. They have pickle ball, shuffleboard, a fishing dock where you can also put your kayaks in. There's a small boat ramp, but I'm not sure if they're size limitations. It's not a very big ramp. Laundry room, mail room. All was very clean. They actually have their own water treatment plants on site and the water that is being distributed is professionally monitored. The park itself is in a country setting so I would assume there's not much road noise once I actually get moved in. I will update my review.

(in the middle of Florida!)…read more We discovered this charming remote gay campground 3+ years ago, when my husband, black lab and I rented one of the 3 yurts for a long weekend, over Thanksgiving, and have been coming down ever since. It was the community of existing "perms" (permanent) campers, weekenders, and eventually northern snowbirds -- who all contribute to the success of this evolving camp ground (and dare I say play-ground?) Orange groves, herds of cattle, and scrub palmetto's line the road to Venus Florida -- however when you drive through the central part of Camp Mars a canopy of live oak shade your site (and maybe just a few bare chests and the occasional bare ass (only at the pool, they insist!). It just doesn't get any closer to nature. There's few bugs, a friendly atmosphere, invitations to wine & cheese parties, or after-hours campfires. We were surprised that this campground (100 sites?) had so much to offer -- heated pool with pop music, large rec hall with a commercial grade kitchen open to all tenters, campers, alike, movies under the stars, sat eve themed dance parties, bingo on Friday, mexican train most nites, pot lucks on saturday for dinner, tent camping along the shared fenceline with cows, Pedro's trail for the nature lover/man lover and of course the newly expanded Gentleman's Club -- open all day, all nite, when you're a little restless. Let's be honest though...it's the friends you meet here, that make the difference. The ones who invite you to taste their homemade bbq rub, or the ones who help you "doll up" for your first drag attempt, or those who ask you to help out in fixing an adult mac 'n cheese for the pot-luck, that rub your shoulders as you sit poolside with a rum & coke. It's those connections, locating kindred spirits that make Camp Mars so alluring -- without all the drama. Only 2 hours from Tampa Bay (and similarly from Miami/Ft. La Di Da, it's an escape to Florida's mid-section -- there's a little bit here for everyone -- except if you're looking for a hilton -- in which case, this wouldn't be for your A&F lifestyle or boy toy. They really dont know how to run a business.. soo many potentialfor this place.. . You can however rent a rv or camp nearby within 5 miles and go for a day or 2. We did about 4 miles away rented a rv. And do the day pass thing. Now, for the most part.. its clicky , and not many newbies.. friendly people there, nothing to do.. the 2 guys that own it are rude and nasty as fuck.. condescending, the short old one drive around in the golf cart and watch everyone, a gestapo. Rude and nasty, very very unfriendly, and makes any newcomers uneasy and unwelcome.. you figure they would love new blood to stair some life in the place. It could be a great place. Have a little food place, a bar.. or sorts ... a dance area.. breath some life into this place.. Owners could be a bit more friendly accommodating. Don't ask them anything.. j7st ask any of the resident or you'll get you head chewed off

There are plenty of activities to enjoy, the pool is wonderful and well maintained, and the Fourth of July fireworks display exceeded all of our expectations. What impressed us most, however, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was hardworking, service-oriented, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. We would gladly recommend Seminole Campground to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable camping experience, whether you're traveling from across the country or, like us, just a few miles down the road. We have been here for June & July. We plan to extend our stay through August.

We were there during the snow bird season and I couldn't have been more happy! The people working and staying there were among the nicest people I've met! Everyone was so kind, friendly and helpful!! They had amazing activities! An insane pool and all the amenities of home on the road! Nothing better than the Sunday morning pancake breakfast to get to know some neighbors. If you're ever traveling and are in the area you should definitely check this place out!

This was one of the friendliest private RV Parks we have ever been to. The spaces are spaced out enough, the place is spotless, the pool, laundry, pickle ball, clubhouse, shuffle board, corn hole are all well kept. We enjoyed our walks down to the boat ramp for sunsets where you can launch your boats, kayaks or canoes. There is also a small shaded dog park down by the boat launch area for our fur babies to enjoy. We met so many friendly people here who made us feel like forever friends from day one! We loved that if you do extended stays here people kept their sites looking beautiful with lovely plants, etc. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are very accommodating! We will be sure to visit again if we ever are in need of an extended stay and highly recommend this gem!

There's a size limit on the campers as it is fairly tight getting into your site. You must pack your patience when coming in and going out due to there being only one single road with the sites situated on each side of the road. Your vehicle is a tight fit as well. Tents welcome. Safe for kids. Bathhouse used to be available and it was quite nice but they had to remove it after hurricane damage. Now there are bath/shower trailers. There's a very lovely park next door with a new playground, kayak rentals and a boat ramp.
