I've only been there a few times to date but even the first time I came in I was treated like family. As for the atmosphere it reminds me of Cheers! You go up a slightly winding staircase to the 2nd floor of a historical building you can't help but get the metro feel of New York, crossed with the mystery of the hidden rooms of Harry Potter. The bar tender keeps you fueled, all conversations are open jump on in (leave all politics at the door). I was invited to join their ranks as a full member and it goes without saying I lept at the opportunity. They have open to the public nights just watch the paper they're advertised. read more

Since I was a child I have admired the Tonquas neon sign. I never thought it belonged to anything though...I was wrong. At the back of the building, there is a staircase. Follow it upwards and on the second floor you will find a large bar shaped like a loopy M. On the third floor is another bar, 2 large ballroom type spaces, and stages. I got to see Upright Citizens Brigade (including the actor who was Gabe from the Office) and marvel at the bizarre-ness of this club. Woodbridge wine is $5 a glass. The paneling is plentiful.
