My elderly father was hesitant about bringing my mother home following day surgery (for her heart)…read more I called from out of town and talked to the nurse on staff to ask that they make sure my parents were comfortable before discharging my mother. The nurse said that she and another co-nurse would make sure my parents were comfortable. More unexpectedly, the doctor who performed the procedure called me just to make sure everyone was on the same page. I appreciated the care everyone took to make sure not only the patient, but the extended family was cared for. Thank you!

Absolute most unprofessional office I've ever set foot in. Rude front office staff. Rude nursing…read morestaff. Extremely rude office manager. Immediately given the impression that none of them care about anything you have to say. Wait time for every appointment was always at least 1 hour, often even longer. If concerns are voiced to office manager, be prepared to get called in for an appointment to meet with the practitioner to be verbally attacked. A 1 hour or greater wait time is normal to them and people should not complain (on what planet?). Rude signs posted on entrance door to patient rooms stating if you don't have good personal hygiene you may be refused treatment. When sick or in need of help, no appointments available for at least a week or more. Cannot stress enough how absolutely unprofessional and awful this office is. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to put enough emphasis on it. The ONLY reason I gave it one star on the review is because it requires at least 1 star. If not, I would have given it 0 stars. It deserves less than 0 in the professionalism department.

I was there as long as they. When I was taken back, nearly every room had a patient in it. It is called triage. It is this way in all local hospitals. Most serious patients will be taken back before you if you do not meet the " as serious" criteria. After being seen by the doctor who ordered various tests, waiting for the results, and starting treatment, I was admitted several hours after I first got there. That is the way it works nowadays and thankfully so. I was there for 3 days. At no point did I receive anything but the best of care! And be aware, the Emergency Staff are not employed by the hospital, but a third party.

I would give Physicians Health Plan zero stars if I could. They are a disaster of a company…read more PHP's directory of doctors is always out of date. I chose my insurance plan under the impression that my doctors were covered. Later, these doctors' offices let me know that they had broken the partnership with PHP months before I even was shopping for insurance. Currently, they still have doctors listed that don't accept my insurance. It's like a bait and switch scheme...with no switch. Many of the doctors/physicians groups have told me that they don't work with PHP anymore because they weren't getting paid. I can't say that I blame them. When I've complained to PHP about this, I've been met with complacency and rudeness. The insurance is nothing short of a scam. I can't even get the care I need without traveling across the state to receive it. When I've complained to PHP about this, I've been met with complacency and rudeness. The insurance is nothing short of a scam. I can't even get the care I need without traveling across the state to receive it. It's gotten so bad that I've filed a report with the BBB.
