For the foreigner, I would recommend some of the typical Swedish flavours, such as hjortron (cloud berries), knäck (a swedish candy we eat at Christmas) or salt lakrits (salt licorice - typical candy for the Scandinavian countries). And for the Swedes, I would say pecan/cola Ice-cream - one of my favorites! The Ice-cream is the same one I get at Kungsträdgården in Stockholm so I guess it's not home made - but it's still deliciously Swedish. The staff is very friendly and it's a good place to visit after some long walks by Vättern.
