My kids excitedly made their selections and I was happy to see that I would be able to savour one last taste of the Island Farms salted caramel that I had discovered in Victoria. Sadly, it was not meant to be! You see as it turns out we only had a five left in our wallet. My husband pulled out a credit card only to discover that like our BDI in Winnipeg, this place did not accept credit cards. They inform us that there is a bank machine conveniently located just behind the stand. However that's when my husband discovers that his bank card had gone missing and silly me, I had not taken mine along on the trip. Based on our previous experience, the dejected expressions on the faces of my children and my own level of disappointment as we drove off minus the much anticipated ice cream, I am awarding this establishment 4 stars.
