I found Acadian Massage while on a recent visit to Baton Rouge from Austin, Texas and after describing to Mandy the combination of physical conditions I was dealing with she explained and then recommended Ashiatsu (a barefoot massage technique). When he stretched my neck he ended up making it feel stiff for the rest of the day; it was quite a painful stretch. I woke up the next day feeling very bruised (not regular muscular soreness, Ive had plenty of massages and am used to this). My chest and arms cannot be touched since they are so extremely tender now. Also it's a bit odd that there is no receptionist as I showed up (10 minutes early as is customary) and the door was locked because the masseuse wasn't there yet. I was really confused and started looking to see if I was at the right place; I should have been informed that the masseuse would call me when he was ready for me to come in.
