Bar of soap left on tub ledge
Catherine B.

I was not expecting much as we drove into the drive way, they lived up to that expectation. We walked in to check in and there was nobody at the desk. We had to call the hotel on our cell phone and was greeted with a very rude woman that stated that she was too busy to check us in. We were there at 2:30 for a 3 meeting o clock check in. Our intent was to do the paperwork and go to our event and just wanted to get the paperwork done soon so we didn't have to do that at 10 or 11 that night. She begrudgingly came to the desk and took care of it for us. We went to the event and returned to the Inn and walked in to our room to find our room appearing as expected for a "Red Roof Inn", except the bathroom looking as if the towels and washcloths had been used and hung back up. (See picture with remnants of past guests) There was a used bar of soap on the self of the tub (see picture). I would not recommend this location to ANYBODY period!!

Hole in the bathroom door

If I could 0 or less stars I would have. My husband and I stay at Red Roofs a lot, we love them because they are typically very nice for a great price. When we got here, the front doors were locked so we tried ringing the bell, stood outside for about 5 minutes. Tried calling the front desk multiple times, no answer. So we called the main Red Roof line and they had to call and get ahold of the hotel, front desk guy said he was in the bathroom. Very unprofessional and rude complaining that we told Red Roof on the phone that we were waiting for 15 minutes. Got into our room and it is the worst room we have ever stayed in. Furniture is torn, walls and floor are dirty and have holes in them. Definitely did not look like a Red Roof. Come to find out it used to be an EconoLodge which better fits the image. Honestly Red Roof should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel. We will never stay here again and I urge anyone to avoid this place.

A Purple dildo in a brown paper bag in the parking lot for three days while we were there. Pick up the trash. Curb appeal is everything

I have to say I was pretty impressed by our stay here…read more We were just in town for the night to visit some friends while we were doing some other shit in the area. GF and I were arriving separately and they were easily able to accommodate her arriving before I and checking in even though I made the reservation. They have what I assume is free parking, unless it was baked into the bill somewhere, which I didn't automatically expect. The location is pretty good, right at the end of Shrewsbury street and within a few minute walk of restaurants and Wormtown. The room was really big and had a kitchenette which was fucking adorable. The bathroom was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The view was pretty good too. I thought I heard footsteps at one point in the morning coming from the room above but I could have been dreaming. Nothing ear plugs didn't fix. I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at this Courtyard a couple of times now. It's centrally located in Worcester and gets…read morethe job done for a work trip. What can you expect? - A comfy bed and all the amenities you may need in a clean room. - Friendly staff including those at check in and at the restaurant/bar. - Food options via the Bistro or room service (I got the pasta once and it was a-ok), as well as the Starbucks coffee bar downstairs which has ample breakfast foods. Not for free though. - The gym is super small, as well as the pool. I'm talking one rack of free weights, two treadmills, one bike, and one elliptical. It does have towels though! - The location is decently central in Worcester and there are good restaurants within walking distance. I also believe they have a shuttle that will take you different places you need to go. I'm usually in and out, and this Courtyard serves its purpose for that!

Booked for this week for a funeral we are attending and found out we would not be needing the room…read morebut the hotel says they cannot give credit or refund despite this beyond 72 hours from check in. They opened a ticket and say it will not be resolved until another 3-5 business days, when we are supposed to be in town for this funeral in 3 days, leaving us in a situation that should not be in light of the circumstances. I've stayed at Marriotts before on the west coast that have been great, so this is very disappointing for a Marriott.

Stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott in downtown Worcester for a work event at the Convention Center,…read morewhich is less than a mile away, about a 15-minute walk. I stayed for one night on a Friday. The cost for one night was about $440, which was very expensive for a basic hotel in a small city. The parking garage is underneath the hotel, so you need to take an elevator upstairs to get to the lobby. This normally would not have been an issue, but I had several boxes to bring in for the event. Since it was raining, I would have preferred to pull up to the entrance to unload, but there was very limited space to stop, with only one or two uncovered spots. Check-in was quick, and I was given the option of a room on a higher or lower floor. There was also a wedding at the hotel that evening, but aside from seeing a few well-dressed guests, I would not have known as I heard no additional noise from my room throughout the night. I did not visit the gym or restaurant, but there was a water and ice machine on my floor. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The temperature was also easy to control. My only complaint was a small light in the room that flashed throughout the night. I am not sure if it was a security sensor or part of the fire or smoke detector, but it was distracting and irritating when I was trying to fall asleep. I was able to print some pages free of charge at the lobby computers, and I had some boxes I needed picked up from FedEx, so was easily about the schedule the pickup and the front desk held them until FedEx arrived. Overall, it was a fine stay and a convenient location for the Convention Center. Besides the cost, I would consider staying here again if I found myself in Worcester.

No complaints here!…read more Just a good, clean Hampton inn with Friendly staff. Great location near the Amazon Robotics building. I had trouble sleeping here, but perhaps it's a me problem. The hotel is clean and quiet, and it seems to be well maintained, with a nice pool and a good sized exercise area. My room was almost completely dark at night (a good thing for me), with a good light-blocking shade and the ability to move or unplug unwanted night lights. The bed was comfy and the pillows were again probably the best on which I've slept in a Hilton hotel in several years. Only down side was that if you want to put clothes away, besides the closet, your only other option is a cabinet door that opens up to 3 pull-out wire shelves. Breakfast was pretty good, today's featured egg-white with vegetable frittatas, french toast sticks, bacon, chilled items, a pastry station, a waffle station, and of course coffee. Decaf coffee is provided by a Keurig with cups, oatmeal is instant plus hot water but an oatmeal fixin's station. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar area. There's a restaurant on the other side of the parking lot, and there's many from which to choose along MA-9 if you wish to drive somewhere for meal.
