You would think that with close proximity to the airport, this hotel would have a higher grade. Just after a few hours of being here, I understand the low rating. This place offers a smoking room option...and those rooms can be filthy overall. The non smoking rooms aren't bad. You see that they are older rooms, and the revitalizing efforts are noticed and appreciated. I had a double bed room for 3 people. The room was given linens for 2 people. When asked for a 3rd set of linens, an attitude ensued from the front worker. What made things worst...they did not have bathing linens...they only had pool towels to give. This hotel is stating they have complimentary breakfast in the morning...that is pretty cool. What is not cool is that the previous statement is not true. This establishment has not gotten permission to give breakfast since the COVID-19 pandemic. What they will provide in the morning is juice. They stock the juice machine in the morning...nothing more. This review is not focusing in on the quality of individuals around the establishment whatsoever. I'm disappointed at the lack of common amenities usually offered via this chain. Sometimes you truly get what you pay for. I was going to ask for one more pillow, but why even bother at this point...

DO NOT STAY HERE! this is crackhead headquarters! the parking lot is completely disgusting. we didn't have hot water. the bed linens were stained so bad, towels were gross. housekeep was by far the laziest I've ever seen. came in and made the beds and put new towels in. didn't clean the floor or anything. there were crackheads walking from different rooms carrying tripods so god knows what else was going on in the dump. the tub was disgusting, stained and rusted to the max. I tried to call and cancel my second night and get my money back and the hotel would not agree to refund me. I will be contacting red roof inn corporate and my bank. we couldn't even hardly take a proper shower, or bathe our kids because the water was so cold. literally terrified our car would get broken into. the young guy at the desk was cussing and slamming the phone down when people called. crackheads sitting in the lobby talking about how they had stuff in their backpack. I could go on and on. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.

Well, you get what you pay for. What's funny is it's a "red roof" inn, with blue tarps on the roof! Oh well.

I went home to visit my parents and we decided to stay at a hotel because my wife works from home…read moreso she needed a quiet place to work while we were there. We chose Home2 Suites because we've stayed at a few Hilton Hotels and liked our experience. The desk clerk was very friendly when we checked in and smiled throughout our interaction. Once we completed checking in, she gave us 3 bottles of water. (it was hot during our stay) The room was clean, and breakfast was very good and varied each morning. When we stay at hotels, we rather not have room service come in so we were able to get clean towels from housekeeping each morning without any questions. The hotel is in close proximity to the airport. Just know that the parking lot is small and we had to park in the back most nights we got in late.

We were simply looking for something close to the airport because our flight was delayed so we needed a place for an extra night. While close to the airport, it isn't close to where we thought we'd be coming from or where we had to get back to. It's really a neither here nor there but I don't see anything significant about this location. The bed was pretty comfortable overall. The fan / AC in the room was noisy which kept me up probably the most but it was bearable not to complain about it. The liquid soap was nice (not watered down), and the room was quiet aside from a couple door slams. It's a nice room and interior but not really what we needed. I've stayed at Home2 in the past but I do not remember the apartment-like amenities. One thing I found odd was the bathroom door. If you were using the bathroom, you couldn't open the door from the outside to walk in (as couples do). The door slammed into my legs. It was a big door. Overall a room that provided us with a decent night's sleep. The gym was merely satisfactory. But very friendly staff!

I would not recommend this hotel for special events. I came in and spoke with the Manager months…read moreago requesting a date. Initially she was very nice. She told me that there was a group using the space, but it was only for gathering/holding as the group departed on that Sunday. She stated that she would reach out to the group representative to see if they could possibly use another room on the second floor as their holding/gathering space and would call me back. When I did not get a call back, I went back to the hotel to follow-up. The same manager told me that she had not made contact with the group, but once again would reach out and follow back up with me. Thinking that she was operating in good faith, I waited again. Still no phone call, so I came back to the hotel a third time. She was not in the office. The front desk agent, who has always been very nice, remembered me and called the manager to see if there was any word on the switch. The manager did not have any new info. The front desk person took my contact information and told me that she would "make sure" I got a call back on Monday. A few Mondays passed, so today I came back to the hotel for one last try, again operating in good faith. The manager was at the desk when I walked in. I came in smiling, said good morning, reminded her of who I was and that I was following up to see if any headway was made with the group. This manager was very rude and dismissive to me. Her first response was "well I told you from the beginning that the space was booked". I said I know, but you also told me you would work on shifting the other group. She snapped back saying "like I said, it was booked and it was always booked". I then reminded her that she was the one who said she would call me and that I never received a phone call". Her response to not returning the call that she promised to make was " well you didnt have an appointment, and I dont work here everyday". What does one thing have to do with the other? The first couple of times I came in dressed for work, so maybe she thought I was someone that she needed to appease. Today, I came dressed down and she treated me like me or my business was not valuable. She was so nasty, and the thing is... I came in prepared to consider another date, because I wanted to give this place my business... but because she was so rude and unprofessional, I walked out saying "never again". This person has no business working in hospitality. She has poor follow-up, she is dishonest, and has a terrible disposition! Folks... find another to host your luncheons, baby showers, bridal parties, etc. They don't deserve our business!

You can tell he wants to establish a good rapport with his guests. There's a complimentary breakfast that is more or less the bare minimum. That said, this is another one of those hotels that someone buys and tries to run for himself, investing the bare minimum in staff and facilities upgrades in order to eke out a profit. You know, just because you can raise the capital to buy a hotel, and are willing to work 24/7 to make it work, doesn't mean you know what people want when they pay extra for a Comfort Inn. The room was superficially clean, unlike the rest of the hotel. The halls hadn't seen a vacuum all day. The stairwells were packed with junk, and the stairs themselves were a filthy disgrace. There were broken lampshades and tissue dispensers in the rooms, and maintenance issues that were so bad as to be nearly laughable. The final strike, though, was that the door to our room wouldn't lock: despite our most valiant efforts, we couldn't get the deadbolt to engage. All of this aside, the hotel is located out in the middle of nowhere, so there's almost nowhere to get food and Door Dash takes an hour to deliver. I would have left the moment we saw our room, but my reservation was non-refundable.

Aside from the location being completely remote, the staff is less than friendly. They have only one airport shuttle (hours 8am - 10pm). It is an old minivan that accommodates only 6 people. Also, if your flight is outside the shuttle hours then you have to make your own arrangements. The attached photo aptly describes the view from Room 211 and any other room on the backside of the hotel. Mold and mildew in the shower. Not generally clean. Icky feeling. Pass on this location.

Three days later, my room hadn't been cleaned, and talked to the front desk, and was told that it couldn't be scheduled, because people would be getting off. Not only is this complete BS, but also a lie. On two occasions, I dropped by at 4PM to drop off items before work, and housekeeping was definitely still working. I called their bluff multiple times, and was given the same lie. I noticed that a contractor working for our company at the site's turnaround had a good number of people also staying there, and they confirmed they were having the same problem. Other issues: * Filthy public areas * "Continental Breakfast" is a joke * Parking fee not disclosed at booking * Rusty hot water in shower (Legionnaires disease, anyone?) * Dirty bathroom * No ice machine where it's supposed to be * "No" to all requests for breakfast (really? You can't manage hot sauce in Louisiana?) Do not stay here. I will definitely work to get this hotel removed from the "preferred" list at work, and make a complaint with La Quinta's corporate office.

She informed me the airport shuttle ran every hour in the hour. Ashley stated to be in the lobby area about 15 min prior to my selected shuttle departure. At first glance the surroundings are typical for airport lodging. Industrial would describe the location. I was informed the facility was quite new. Ashley provided a room with a King bed on the 4th floor. I was instructed to take one of the two elevators at each end of the building. Happy to know I didn't have to climb four flights of stairs. The whole facility was clean including the pool area. There are several tables and lounge chairs for those who wish to utilize the area. This is not a destination hotel. It IS a very good choice for those overnighting for an early flight. My flight departs at 5:15 a.m. I live in the Gulf Coast so staying a night preflight was a no brainer. The room was quite spacious. Very clean. However, there was an unusual smell upon entering the room. I attribute the smell to the recent construction. Simple fix, I simply rolled some of my perfume into a Kleenex and placed it near the a/c unit. Problem solved! The a/c worked well. I like to sleep relatively cool... 70 degrees preferably. The unit had a continuous low hum which you get use to. I was also surprised not to hear the planes taking off and landing. I have stayed at other hotels in the area. This was not the case. Although I don't mind the sound of planes, other people might. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of airport traffic noise. There's a rather large TV in the room with plenty of channels if you're inclined to view your favorite shows. The bed and pillows are quite comfortable. This is important to me. When the curtains are open, there's plenty of natural light. I noticed their blackout curtains your sunlight annoys you. I was happy to see a small one cup coffee maker! I suggest picking up some extra cream in the lobby part to go into your room. One of the attendance was kind enough to retrieve a few more packs for me. All of the individuals I ran into her super nice. I would definitely recommend this place. Please be aware when you check in even though you've paid in advance for your room there's a $75 deposit required, that is returned upon checkout. I get it, it's a new facility and I suppose they want to keep it that way. Just be aware. Hairdryer, shampoo, cream, rinse, body wash, mouthwash, ironing board are available in the room .

You have to literally slam the door for it to close. They painted the outside steps with regular paint, therefore they are very slippery. Not the safest place for a woman or women traveling alone. The front desk clerk was very nice. I hope this helps someone.
