I've only been here one time, to pick something up, but it seems to be a nice place. They charge, I believe it was $40 to have something shipped here. Discount jewelery and loan is $30 so there are cheaper places to ship to but not much. They have an indoor range where you can rent firearms or bring your own to practice. I've always preferred outdoor over indoor though so I didn't actually get to see the range. They also have ammo, accessories, etc for sale. I don't know if they allow full auto or not or to what caliber they allow. I meant to ask but got side tracked looking around. This won't affect most people anyway as they don't have a license for full auto but I do. I usually run the gauntlet on the outdoor range down 49 with the Sheriff's office. The two employees that were there when I went, I assume one of them was the owner, were both friendly and answered any question I had. There are covered picnic benches outside where I'm assuming you could clean your weapons after you're done plinking before you leave. If they're not for that purpose I'm not really sure what they're there for. They have gunsmiths on staff they said, with not too bad of wait times. Just bring your firearm that needs repairing, tell the smith what's wrong with it, and leave it with them. I was told the wait should be less than 2 weeks when I went. So if you're looking for an indoor range the staff are friendly here and it seems like a good place to try out. I forget how much they charge so you'd have to call and ask them for that. read more

This is hands down the best and most modern range in Shreveport/Bossier. I've been to most of them around here and now find it nearly impossible to want to go anywhere but Red River Range. Two words: AIR CONDITIONING! The place is really clean, the staff have all been incredibly friendly and helpful, and the shooting ranges they have are perfect. The target distance system is as modern as it gets and has some very cool program modes to choose from. Prices are very affordable, there's a great selection of firearms to rent even some NFA items too. Reminds me of some of the nicer ranges I've shot at in Las Vegas. They offer a wide range of classes, have a gunsmith on site, and are all about safety. Really thankful to have such a great spot here in NW Louisiana to shoot at. read more

I can honestly say this is the best experience I've ever had at a gun range. I had just mounted a new digital scope on my .308 and wanted to zero it before going hog hunting this weekend. The staff were courteous, helpful, but not in a way that seems like they're trying to make you feel inferior to the. That, and they had AMMO!!! That's like finding a pot of gold. I loved the 100 yard indoor range. Nice to Zero your scope without wind. If you ever need a range, I couldn't give enough thumbs up for Red River Range. read more

Has a nice lounge area (with a fireplace, coffee, and WiFi) so even if you are going with someone who'd rather watch than shoot, there's somewhere for them to hang out (besides the actual observation area.) read more

I'm a US Army Veteran and I've spent roughly nine years in law enforcement. I've done some armed security and I have my concealed carry permit. None of the training and qualifications that I have were taken with Red River Range. All of the training, education, and certification have been with other ranges, and for that I have always had okay to not very good experience with those other ranges. A buddy of mine referred me to Red River Range and for my birthday I went out and shot my firearms at Red River Range. I have never experienced the extreme professionalism, experience, and character of the staff at Red River Range anywhere else that I've been to. I will always go back and will be getting a membership at Red River as soon as I can. I was VERY impressed. Highly recommend!!!! read more

This is an absolutely world-class indoor shooting facility. I am an avid shooter and have visited many different ranges across the south. My wife and I were visiting Shreveport, and after reading an article about RRR, I decided to check it out. I was blown away - This place is awesome! When we arrived we looked around the retail area for a bit. They carry all manner of firearms, ammo, accessories and RRR apparel. The facility is brand new and very clean. When I asked about the actual range, a staff member offered us a tour. There is a 100 yard indoor range where we shot a .50 BMG, and has to be seen to believe. They also have a bunch of 25 yard lanes, all of which have target system that can.be programmed to zoom back and forth and spin so you can do shooting drills, or play shooting games with a partner, etc. Under supervision of a range safety officer. Very cool! I had my pistol with me and we rented one for my wife. Prices on everything were very reasonable considering how nice and first class everything is. We took a break and watched some college football in the lounge area which had a huge sofa, fireplace, coffee, etc. There is also a full service gunsmith on site. Anyway, this place is like Top Golf but for shooting. It's as nice as the ranges in Las Vegas. My wife isn't a big shooter, but she loved it and the staff was very helpful at making her feel comfortable- the owner was there and talked with us for a while also- nice people. Oh, also, they rent machine guns! Talk about fun! I will definitely be back. It is about 4 hours from me, but totally worth travelling for. read more

The most high end gun range I have been to. The ventilation system is great. This is as close to shooting outside as you can get. The 100 yard rifle range is to convenient and makes zeroing a rifle a simple task with their camera system. Everything is state of the art. I have been trying to get to this range when I travel to Shreveport and I finally got the chance tonight. This is an awesome facility! Ian and Doc were incredibly helpful. I'm used to sweeping my own brass, so I was confused when they wouldn't let me and insisted they do it. I felt like a had personal shooting assistants. Next time I'm in town, I plan to bring a rifle for the 100 yard indoor lanes to get the full experience. read more

Wife and I shot at the Red River Range today! What an incredible experience! From the initial check in until final check out, there are simply not enough words to describe how wonderful the staff is and how impressive the facilities are. We have shot at local ranges as well as multiple DFW ranges, simply no comparison. The 25 yard range was spectacular! The RSO was professional and personable. He voluntarily spent time with my wife on correcting a bad habit but did it in a very teachable manner without being condescending! Next we moved over to the 100 yard range. Again impeccable! Not only clean but the equipment just top notch! As a noob rifle shooter the RSO as just fantastic! He fielded all of my noob dumb questions professionally! He also helped my wife understand how she could help as a spotter by explaining how the adjustments on the optic correlate with the impact on the target!
