Come to find out they were an out of network office and the lady at the office explained that normally the insurance companies work with them on the cost even when out of network. Well I could have told her this was incorrect I have never had insurance change their coverages for out of network versus in network that is why they have the different coverages listed as such. 100% convinced she neglected to inform us they were out of network because she didn't want us to go elsewhere which we would have like most people would. The EOB from our insurance stated we would have saved 1600 dollars if we would have used a in network office. I would never recommend this place to anyone with this type of dishonest practices

When Dr Hampton did his exam, I received a hand mirror so I could see inside my mouth as he was pointing out the details of my teeth. I have a few minor areas that need repair. I was there to have my failed root canal pulled. They charged me $250 for a 3D xray - I was led to believe that was needed to complete the extraction. I had to pay up front and they said my insurance would not pay for it. The dentist examined me went over my X-ray and said it needed extracted. i knew that already! They were unwilling to extract it that day and fast forward to now. I had difficulty with this office again in scheduling. I gave up and said send me my 3D xray. I then found a reputable Surgeon and took my 3D $250 xray to him. He informed me it was unnecessary and a simple xray is fine. It was then I learned that this office takes advantage of people in pain by pushing expensive unnecessary scans. so if I were going to get implants, this is the last place on earth I would get them. This office has problems keeping Dentists, they have different people every time you inquire.

Upon going again when notified via text I noticed the mom coming through the clinic without a mask and I mentioned this to the new desk lady, she covered for her and said it was due to "extenuating circumstances". That mom overheard this turned around and said"I DONT BELIEVE IN MASKS !" Wow ...desk lady is not doing her job. Please offer masks when arriving and enforce MASK ORDER as all others do. This Dentist ROCKS!…read more I came to Dr. Steven Kendrick at the MDC for a second opinion after being told I need a root canal and five cavities from Dentistry by Design (see review). Going to the dentist is not top on my list for "fun" things to do. I was able to easy download the new patient forms from the website. I have Guardian Dental through my employer. I was quickly greeted when I arrived by Tammy, I waited less than 5 minuted to be brought back to the patent area. My dental hygienist Libby was friendly, warm and reassuring. The patient chair was comfortable memory foam, the holder for the "bib" they use was silicone, not cold metal and there was a 15 inch flat-screen TV mounted to the chair right in front of me tuned to the price is right, which I never get to see, because I'm at work lol. X-rays and detailed pictures (like in the dental books) were taken with a high quality camera were taken of my teeth. This was followed with a gentle quality cleaning. I then meet the dentist. He told me it was his responsibility to answer all my questions and ensure that I left informed, I felt empowered. My question were answered and I was told that I id not require any extensive dental work, no cavities and no cavities, just staining (coffee and smoking) bad I know, but don't judge ;p I will be going back in six month for my cleaning. My insurance changed and I was referred to Dental Depot on Hefner, who knew the choo choo train dentist did adults? My Dentist is Dr. Rand Alzubi and she is amazing. Pain - Dr Alzubi has a team of specialized nurses who just do the humming, I've had 3 different ones. All awesome. Gentle - No pain, and Dr Alzubi genuinely cares if she's hurting you. Responsive - I've had 4 separate issues and Dr Alzubi cleared schedules and saw me immediately each time. Professional - There were 2 situations where I knew there was a cheap route and a route where the dentist made more money. Dr. Alzubi never hesitated to give the cheaper option, knowing my finances are tight. I'm super happy and will never go anywhere else.
