For the one and only reason I loved them, EVERYONE and I mean everyone (except for the Seigan Lane location) were extremely welcoming and nice. So, these bank branches are located around the Baton Rouge area and I had a pretty large check to cash. I wanted cash that day which is why I didn't go to my bank (7 day hold yikes!!). One branch said they'll cash it, give me $2k back and put the rest in an account. Another branch said they'll give me $10k back with an open account. The corporate office said we'll give you however much you need with an open account. No cohesion among the branches but of course I chose the latter. I particularly didn't like this bank for the following reasons: 1). They're extremely antiquated. 2). They're online banking is more static than dynamic 3). Their overdraft protection is apparently at the branch manager's discretion. 4). It's $4 to use their ATM for withdrawals. For these reasons, I closed the account today.

The tellers , bankers and even greeters are always so nice , smiling and professional. The goal of the employees to satisfy the customers comes across every time I visit the location. Most difficult experience I've ever had with a bank. We were trying to get a loan. My wife and I…read morecalled and emailed several times per week and never got a response. Eventually we were fed up to the point where we went up there to speak with someone face to face and it turns out they lost our loan application which obviously had our personal information on it like our social security numbers, address, etc. I suppose this is why they never contacted us back. Right now, 3 months later, we're still waiting on the first step of our loan process to be finished before we can begin our renovation. I guess it's time to start looking at other banks.

I am a long time Capital One Bank client (became a member through the Hibernia Bank acquisition)…read more Since the acquisition, I can't say that I've had any problems with Capital One until Thursday April 11, 2024. On that date, I went into my local branch for a cashier's check. The teller had a horrible attitude and was very condescending during our interaction. I was at her window for at least forty minutes trying to get a single cashier's check. She had to call someone at a different office and get assistance from another teller. When asked what was taking so long, she replied that I caused the delay because I didn't bring my Capital One debit card (though she was given my driver's license and a second form of ID). After being in front of her window forty minutes, the cashier's check was done wrong. When it was brought to her attention, she told me to write the missing information on the memo line beside the information she erroneously placed there. It took every past prayer and word of encouragement from my parents, grandparents, and pastor to keep my composure with this lady. If you have to go into the lobby of the Capital One on Burnside in Gonzales, LA, consumer beware. Adam M.

This is main Capital One location in Gonzales, LA... located at the corner of Rome Street &…read moreBurnside (LA Hwy 44) down toward LA Hwy 30... The Gonzales Tennis Complex sits right beside it.... Interior they have a coin dump machine to turn that silver and copper into paper.... usually have at least 4 tellers working the bank counter.... numerous bankers on the floor to help with things the tellers can't.... On the outside there are at least 7 drive thru lanes plus a drive up ATM in addition to a walk up ATM on the front of the building... Turning left out of the parking lot can be tough so the location is excellent.... if you have to make a left onto Burnside you can simply exit onto Rome Street and you'll have a light that greatly assists in making that left turn.... Turning right out of the lot to head back down toward US Hwy 61 is usually a breeze.... I think that about covers it...
