On that date, I went into my local branch for a cashier's check. The teller had a horrible attitude and was very condescending during our interaction. I was at her window for at least forty minutes trying to get a single cashier's check. She had to call someone at a different office and get assistance from another teller. When asked what was taking so long, she replied that I caused the delay because I didn't bring my Capital One debit card (though she was given my driver's license and a second form of ID). After being in front of her window forty minutes, the cashier's check was done wrong. When it was brought to her attention, she told me to write the missing information on the memo line beside the information she erroneously placed there. It took every past prayer and word of encouragement from my parents, grandparents, and pastor to keep my composure with this lady. If you have to go into the lobby of the Capital One on Burnside in Gonzales, LA, consumer beware. Adam M.

Interior they have a coin dump machine to turn that silver and copper into paper.... usually have at least 4 tellers working the bank counter.... numerous bankers on the floor to help with things the tellers can't.... On the outside there are at least 7 drive thru lanes plus a drive up ATM in addition to a walk up ATM on the front of the building... Turning left out of the parking lot can be tough so the location is excellent.... if you have to make a left onto Burnside you can simply exit onto Rome Street and you'll have a light that greatly assists in making that left turn.... Turning right out of the lot to head back down toward US Hwy 61 is usually a breeze.... I think that about covers it...

They will ask you to fill out an application for a loan, and that part will request for your SSN. First of all, I called this place to see if they had moneygram service. They said they did, and I said I would drive over. They didn't say you can't use their moneygram unless you're also applying for a loan. When I got there, they said I can't use my debit card to transfer the money, only cash. I had to go out and look for cash, then I came back and waited in line for a long time. When it was time for them to serve me, the lady processed my moneygram transaction, but she said I needed to fill out the top part of an application in order for her to complete my transaction. There was a request for my SSN and I skipped that part because I DON'T just give out my SSN especially if it's for something that I had no intention on applying for. The lady serving me asked for my SSN. I told her that I don't feel comfortable disclosing it (especially just to use moneygram) She yelled across to what seemed to be a supervisor that I would not give out my SSN, then they made the decision to cancel my whole moneygram transaction. I walked out of there after having wasted about an hour of my time. Next time it would be polite if somebody stated that you can't use moneygram unless you're prepared to apply for a loan and give out your SSN

The fact that this particular branch averages more than 2 stars at most is just a blatant LIE. Decades long customers, never a late or missed payment, yet so many terrible experiences including holding of funds from accident settlements, adjusting policies without my knowledge, and inaccurately reporting cancelled policies to the state. I finally decided to go for a cheaper carrier where at least these issues don't cost me an inflated fee. Shameful!

I like them so much that I was going to get quotes on business insurance but they were in the ballpark I had seen on Google and I was like, let's just do it. I am totally devoted to State Farm. Over the years they've given me competitive prices, taken care of me when I've needed them, and truly been there. And yesterday I found out they are member owned. I love them even more.
