History

Established in 2011.

Ellie Leonard began working as an editor and transcriber back in 2011, as a means to stay at home with her first child. Starting as a very small-time freelance editor, Ellie was soon scouted by a local transcription company looking for editing-minded transcribers. With no knowledge of transcription, she soon discovered how incredibly interesting transcribing graduate-level research projects could be! Throw in a few court cases, some podcast episodes, and insurance claims, and Ellie soon became a veteran transcriber, continuing to work as an editor in between projects.

Meet the Business Owner: Eleanor L.

Eleanor "Ellie" Leonard began her business as a rookie with little knowledge of working with media, academia, or in the legal world. Today she views what she does as an amazing opportunity for basically a free education about the world around her, that she gets to step into every night.
