A note simply stating the test was "not declined" is not the same as informed consent--especially when the test and its cost were not clearly discussed beforehand. It is also concerning that no one contacted me with the results of a full blood panel. Being told "no news is good news" is not an acceptable substitute for actually providing results, particularly for diagnostic testing. In my experience, every other veterinary clinic I have visited has clearly outlined the plan of care, provided an estimate with pricing for approval, and followed up with results--whether normal or abnormal. That standard of communication and transparency was not met here. This situation reflects a lack of clear authorization, pricing transparency, and appropriate follow-up.

It has been 10 days since I picked up my puppy and I have not received an email (as Victoria told me I would before I left), about what my puppy was supposedly trained on! She didn't have my email address HOWEVER, I emailed it to her the very next day bright and early and never got a response! I feel as though he wasn't trained on ANYTHING because when I picked him up, he was jumping on Victoria (what I wanted him to learn NOT to do) as well as chewing on his leash (wanted him to learn NOT to do that either!) I'm not a professional dog trainer but I know consistency is key when learning something new so it is a complete DIS-service to NOT know what to continue to train my puppy on! Also, during pick up and drop off she had just gotten home from doing one on one trainings else where so how is my puppy getting trained when she's not there?? I feel like I got gypped into the training part of the service. The pluses to this review/business is that Victoria's home is very well equipped for a dog or puppy with a double gated outside play area, plenty of toys, and just all around great environment to also get well aquatinted with other pups. She also responds very quick to text and is flexible with payments. She also makes sure your puppy's have current vaccinations to protect your puppy and others. She also offered to clip Chances nails before I left and gave him a trim around his eyes which I didn't ask for but, I appreciated it. It does take a passionate dog lover to open up your home and train a strangers dog so she gets a star for that for sure! Still up for debate if I would go back for boarding?

Before she entered our lives, our sweet pup (Oakley) was essentially a tiny, furry sprinkler of pee and a landmine factory of poop. Every day was a new guessing game of "What's that smell?" and "Oh no... I just stepped in it, didn't I?" Enter Victoria, the dog whisperer / saint / wizard / actual angel disguised as a trainer. We sent our puppy to her for board and train, and I swear she sent back a completely different dog--one that pees OUTSIDE. I repeat: OUTSIDE. I don't know what kind of Hogwarts-level sorcery she pulled, but it worked. And that's just the beginning! My dog now knows how to sit like a proper lady, "leave it" like it's hot, and stay "quiet"like a ninja. The jumping to greet everyone like they owe her money? Way down. The nipping with those razor-sharp baby teeth? She taught her that humans are friends, not chew toys. That's all just bonus material at this point--my bar was literally "Please just don't treat the living room like a toilet." Victoria is amazing at what she does, truly. If you're on the fence about dog training, just do it. You might not get your life back, but you'll get your house back--and that's honestly better. THANK YOU, Victoria! My 5 month old kitten broke his leg and I was so scared about what to do. I was able to make an…read moreappointment the following day and their ortho was available to get a good look at his X-rays. They determined it was a clean enough break to cast him and let it heal on its own. My kitten was so crafty he escaped his cast several times but the staff was kind enough to let me bring him back in to rewrap it. After a week of that, they xray again and determined it was healed enough to let him go without it but to keep him calm in a room without stuff to climb and jump on. Walter is lucky he's a kitten and healed quickly! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and answered every question I had about my kitten as well as the costs along the way. Everything was laid out before I signed for treatment. Overall great experience. Thank you!

After sixteen months of reflection, I must address the incompetence and lack of compassion we experienced during her treatment for lymphoma. Despite Sookie's history of "senior moments" and front-leg weakness--which Dr. Hille dismissed--he prescribed NexGard during her chemotherapy. Only after Sookie suffered a fatal seizure did we discover that NexGard is contraindicated for pets with cognitive issues. While Dr. Hille later apologized via phone, admitting he wished he could retract that prescription, the error was catastrophic. Furthermore, the clinical environment during her final hours was deeply distressing. Prioritizing payment and paperwork while Sookie was actively seizing was inappropriate. Additionally, observing Dr. Hille eating in his office while we were led past with our dying pet demonstrated a disturbing lack of empathy. To be called shortly after returning home to settle a billing discrepancy was the final indignity in a five-year relationship with your clinic. I am sharing this so that our experience is on the record and to ensure that other families are spared such impersonal and negligent care during their most vulnerable moments.

The compassion and love that Dr. Adamson has for my dog is makes my heart swell. I trust her completely with my 14 year old lab. While my heart hurts for someone else losing their family member, I feel it's important to remember it's our decision to make, and to place all blame on one expert and threaten to sue will not bring anyone peace. Just this week I had to make the difficult decision to put my 14 year old lab to rest. Dr. Adamson laid out the facts and gave me the knowledge I needed to make a decision on my senior dog. We have been seeing Dr. Adamson for years. Her warm comforting hugs and kindness are what make her shine. She 100 percent knows her stuff and I am amazed and what she can recall (without looking through notes) on my dog. Incredible memory. Do not let the negative, emotional review sway you. Every single person cares about our pets and it's on display.

He still cannot stand on his back legs and the 1st time he had surgery at Rutherford Veterinary Hospital he heeled so fast and was able to climb stairs and jump up in 2 months. my dog still suffers from his last surgery 6 months later even though I followed the doctors' instructions to the letter. my dog will never walk the same, run the same or jump again because of them. They over sale you everytime you go in. literally taking advantage of a person worried about man's best friend. just to make a dollar. In one emergency, Dr. Montgomery patiently and thoughtfully cared for two of my kitties after they had rare, adverse reactions to their annual vaccines. One kitty required ongoing supportive care for days and Dr. Montgomery could not have been more caring and on top of things. She even made sure that the vaccine manufacturers covered all of the costs of Livie's treatment, a process that undoubtedly was labor intensive, and made a huge difference. Recently, I called late in the day to see if I could have my other cat seen because he'd been vomiting and had become progressively more lethargic. Dr. Mueller stayed late (I arrived close to the COB) to evaluate my Moose, and diagnosed an intestinal blockage that required emergency surgery. She then quickly transferred us to an emergency hospital for surgery and everything went off without a hitch. It was a terrible several hours, but I couldn't have been more fortunate to have started with PCAC and Dr. Mueller. Thank you to the entire team!!
