I do love a good steak and ale pie, and each time we've gone we've been lucky enough to get it on the menu. A great portion size with your own gravy boat too (don't get that much in places these days). The staff have been fantastic every time we've gone, and the wait for the food hasn't been long. Everything is of a good quality and at a good price. This is one of your lovely "country" pubs and well worth a visit. I'm already salivating at the thought of our next trip there!
