They checked me in right away. The rooms were perfectly lit - not too bright yet not too dim. The music was soft and at the perfect level. My massage therapist gave me different options as far as the type of massage. I stated as long as it's not a deep tissue massage. I had that once & for three days - I was in so much pain that it felt like I'd been in a car accident. So, knowing that he chose a shiatsu massage. I stated I tend to carry my stress between my shoulders and neck. Plus I'm so ticklish everywhere else! Having told him this, he began my amazing massage. It was the best gift that I could possibly received. When my massage was over - I secretly wanted to move in! I plan to give my best friend a massage there as well. Please try Escape Wellness Spa as you will walk away with out a care in the world and so relaxed!

Absolutely hands down worst experience I've ever had and I've been getting a massage once a month…read morefor the past 12 years. So the address that's on google maps is NOT ACCURATE. The true establishment is actually east at 4400 Bayou Blvd. I initially called, no answer. I received a call back from a personal number and the lady on the phone said she thought I scheduled for 7pm. I let her know that I've never scheduled before so right off the bat I should've taken that as a red flag. She said she wouldn't be able to get me in for an hour to which I said that's okay I'm looking for something sooner so I started heading home. On the way home she called and said she could get me in 30 mins and asked if I was at the location. I said yes. She listed a specific nearby establishment and it seems there was a misunderstanding. 30 mins later come to find out the establishment was in a DIFFERENT CITY! She then shares her location with me but it immediately expires. After that she finally gives me the address but no building number. I call, no answer. She calls back and says she's coming out to meet me but the address she gave me put me on the whole other side of the complex. When we speak on the phone she asks me if I can just reschedule.... Are you kidding me?! What a waste of time and gas! We finally found each other after 10 mins of looking, only for her to tell me there's no one available to give me a massage!!!!!! What?!?! She brings me up to the establishment which is tucked into a corner, upstairs. Yeah, "easy to find". She did offer me 1/2 off should I choose to book a future massage which is the only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1. I won't be coming back, I've dealt with poor management before and it can destroy a business. I'm sure the therapists are great but I'm not willing to drive out here again and have someone "last minute cancel or reschedule". This seems like the kind of place to do something like that. Advice: Update your google maps app location, it's misleading, unprofessional, and confusing to customers who are legitimately looking for healthcare. Additionally, don't blame your customers for using the app they prefer. Update your location or take it off the site, you manage a business, it's as simple as that.

Very disappointing experience with the front-desk staff. The way I was spoken to was extremely rude…read moreand arrogant. I understand that English may not be their first language, but this had nothing to do with language--it was the tone, attitude, and body language that were disrespectful and made me feel very uncomfortable. After everything that was said and the way I was treated, there was not even an apology. Customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. It makes me question how a business can be run this way and expect customers to want to come back. Because of this experience, I would have to seriously think twice before returning.

I've had massages in numerous places such as Destin Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Paris, Argentina and the list goes on. Kristen has been the best. She's also caring with a wonderful personality. The website and bill board advertisements say $48 for 60 minutes, but once inside the wall chart says $60 for 60 minutes. I am not even sure the therapist was legal. Did not see any licenses posted as is required by all legit therapists. She did not speak any English either. The only draping is a towel. On the plus side, they were very nice to me when I first walked in. They were NOT nice to me when I told them they shorted me on time. Never EVER again. I hope they this review. I am angry! My complaint is in regard to being UNETHICAL, and FALSE advertising, and possibly illegal if the therapist is unlicensed by the Florida Dept of Health Massage Board. There was NO licenses posted as required by law. Mostly I am angry because I had a bad experience with them, then they did not make it right, and were not nice to me when I challenged (politely) them. I even paid the full $60 (sorry I did now) because they were arguing with me about time, and I was so angry I needed to leave.
