Schedule a 90 massage for 12, got a call from staff at 1112 asking if I can come at 1130, I said…read morefine, when I came they say they have to cut my massage to 60min, I obliged. The staff say they would refund me for the extra 30 min. My masseuse is very inexperienced, she often forgets to do things, her movements are unnecessary thereby creating noise as she moved around, her massage are not replicate from left to right, her pressure points are very uneven, it felt like she is very inexperienced, I was reluctant to tip her at all. The establishment is a noise trap, any time someone open the front door (with it insane door bell) or talk the next room over, I can hear everything, ruining the whole relaxing experience. EDIT: Tina reached out to me to explain the situation with her staff, I have upgrade from 2 to 3 star after talking to her, although I understand her situation however it does not change my experience at the establishment, should I visit the shop again and receive better treatment, I will make sure to update the change.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Booked a DEEP TISSUE massage as a birthday gift for my mom…read more She homeschools my 2 younger siblings, she is with them 24/7, and she doesn't usually get a break. This was supposed to be a relaxing hour for her. I booked her massage with Tina because she had great reviews! First, Tina rescheduled the time of my mom's massage the day of without calling first to confirm that the time worked for her. When my mom called to see if she could reschedule for a different week instead, she didn't answer and texted back saying they actually could take her at the original time she was scheduled. As frustrating as that was, my mom still went to the appointment where she was brought back and informed THEN that she was scheduled with a different masseuse rather than being notified when they texted her. A simple explanation that they could take my mom at her original scheduled time but with a different masseuse would have sufficed. Still, my mom stayed and got a massage from this male masseuse that she didn't get the name of, otherwise I would tell you to avoid him at all costs if you do decide to come here. Although she was scheduled for a DEEP TISSUE massage, my mom described the pressure of the massage equivalent to my six year old sister giving her a massage. Massages are supposed to be quiet and relaxing, and this masseuse spoke the ENTIRE TIME and spoke with his hands, so her massage in total was probably 30 minutes. I paid $90 for a relaxing deep tissue massage, and my mom received a 30-minute back rub. And instead of using a massage oil, they used a thick dollar-tree feeling lotion. My mom said the best part of it all was the warm towel he brought out to wipe the lotion off her. Already, this whole experience has been HORRIBLE, but then my mom comes out to Tina ringing up a regular she apparently kicked my mom's appointment for. When my mom goes up to the counter to check out, Tina tells her the appointment was already paid for (by me) but that a tip wasn't left. I by no means was going to tip someone before they did their job, let alone would I have wanted my mom to tip after such a terrible experience. My mom is uncomfortable with confrontation and after Tina pushed by mentioning no tip was left 4 different times, my mom explained she didn't have cash for a tip. Tina jumped to say they could use her credit card for her to leave a tip. To say im appalled at the lack of professionalism by this establishment is an understatement. Quite honestly, I would want a refund because it was that much of a waste of time and money. Please, if you're looking to get a massage, go ANYWHERE else.

Absolutely hands down worst experience I've ever had and I've been getting a massage once a month…read morefor the past 12 years. So the address that's on google maps is NOT ACCURATE. The true establishment is actually east at 4400 Bayou Blvd. I initially called, no answer. I received a call back from a personal number and the lady on the phone said she thought I scheduled for 7pm. I let her know that I've never scheduled before so right off the bat I should've taken that as a red flag. She said she wouldn't be able to get me in for an hour to which I said that's okay I'm looking for something sooner so I started heading home. On the way home she called and said she could get me in 30 mins and asked if I was at the location. I said yes. She listed a specific nearby establishment and it seems there was a misunderstanding. 30 mins later come to find out the establishment was in a DIFFERENT CITY! She then shares her location with me but it immediately expires. After that she finally gives me the address but no building number. I call, no answer. She calls back and says she's coming out to meet me but the address she gave me put me on the whole other side of the complex. When we speak on the phone she asks me if I can just reschedule.... Are you kidding me?! What a waste of time and gas! We finally found each other after 10 mins of looking, only for her to tell me there's no one available to give me a massage!!!!!! What?!?! She brings me up to the establishment which is tucked into a corner, upstairs. Yeah, "easy to find". She did offer me 1/2 off should I choose to book a future massage which is the only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1. I won't be coming back, I've dealt with poor management before and it can destroy a business. I'm sure the therapists are great but I'm not willing to drive out here again and have someone "last minute cancel or reschedule". This seems like the kind of place to do something like that. Advice: Update your google maps app location, it's misleading, unprofessional, and confusing to customers who are legitimately looking for healthcare. Additionally, don't blame your customers for using the app they prefer. Update your location or take it off the site, you manage a business, it's as simple as that.

So, I used to enjoy coming in here to feel rejuvenated but this recent visit had me a bit bothered…read more Mind you this review is coming from a Licensed Massage Therapist.... this place really gets the knots out however the following things are what I have noticed that I didn't particularly care for. -Please make sure your therapist aren't driving an elbow into a clients spinous process(spine) It's painful and causes damage not healing. -When a client states what, they want respect that do not try to upgrade them to a combo or when they say no while face down on the table you haggle and harass them and try to negotiate time and upgrades (I over heard this with the person and therapist beside me) People come to get worked on not to deal with being harassed. -If you are offering a combo where two therapist on working on a client at the same time actually do so.. -People get worked on to help with muscles and relax so keep the talking amongst therapist down to a minimum it's ridiculous when you cannot enjoy a massage because the constant talking(you have music playing, therapist shouldn't be carrying on with each other to where the music cannot be heard) There was far too much talking literally there wasn't one minute of my 60 min session of silence where the therapist weren't talking to each other. -be mindful that you aren't driving the tip of an elbow where the kidneys are on a client (you could cause so internal bleeding) Fix these issues and your business will probably gain more clientele. If not that's fine because me and my fellow LMT will be more than willing to create a better environment! :-)
