Dr. Kaushal Desai stands out not only for his expertise but also for his kindness and time efficiency! The appointment was completed within an hour, which I really appreciate given how little time we all have in our day for doctors' appointments -- and the quality is absolutely still there! When I mentioned a sensitive tooth, Dr. Desai was gentle and attentive, explaining each step, reviewing and assessing every tooth, and concluding with recommendations. Dr. Desai offered helpful suggestions like using Sensodyne for gum recession and shared best practices for whitening products. I absolutely plan to return for a professional whitening treatment and appreciate that Dr. Desai can make custom trays for a perfect fit -- I want a higher level of whitening than the over-the-counter products. Dr. Desai's background speaks for itself. He graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2012 with Honors in the advanced standing program for international dentists. He also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (2010) and received a Gold Medal for community service in preventive dentistry at Rajiv Gandhi University, Karnataka, India. Dr. Desai is affiliated with the American Dental Association, American Dental Student Association, and Pennsylvania State Dental Association, and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. My first visit was through a Groupon -- which is a fantastic way to discover skilled professionals like Dr. Desai. The office is convenient with great parking, and I left cavity-free and very happy with the experience. Groupon gave me a great introduction to a practice that clearly values community access to care -- an ethical commitment many in healthcare share. I left with no cavities, every tooth assessed and tended to, knowledge on how to maintain my teeth, along with product recommendations -- I'll definitely return! Thank you! Recently I had an emergency, my front tooth broke off and they made a special appointment! Dr Reckner repaired the tooth with cement. All things looked good! Three days later the problem happened again -- 3:30 on a Friday afternoon. They close at 4:00 on Friday and aren't open on Sat. Dr Reckner told me to come right over and did a stronger repair by putting a pin in. Until you've been facing days with one of your front teeth missing, you can't appreciate the fact that the Dr was concerned enough to tell you to come right away.
