Since the move into the shop, standards have fallen, partly due to to diversification of menu items, with sushi, burgers, kebabs and even pasta on the menu.... at a pizza shop. I don't enjoy the pizza here, nor do I care for other items, my favourite pizza, the pepperoni, now boasts large, bland salami. The price for a large has also inflated with the quality drop. I've also been a recipient of old pizza dough, my family didn't enjoy this occasion very much. Truffle fries were good, other staff was friendly and chips were eventually taken off the bill.

They had one waitress and two tables when I arrived. 20 minutes before I got a drink order in and another 15 before I got my drink. I went ahead and ordered my food along with the drink and the place got packed! Another waitress joined into help out and she was very skilled. Had she been there earlier, they probably would have gotten five stars. The food took about 15 minutes to come out and well worth the wait. Our entire group ordered pasta, and no one was disappointed. Another bonus was the beer and wine list. It's always good to see restaurants stocking local wines, but even better, local beers. I'm starting to get bored of the same limited beer list at every restaurant. After this experience, I'm keen to get back to Devonport to try the rest of the best of Best Street!
