Maintenance is always on top of new work orders, and always does a fantastic job on whatever the problem is. Pros -Quiet -Beautiful Property -Perfect for new couples looking to get a start in their lives -Maintenance are TOP DOGS -Rent is on the cheaper side -The office staff do everything they can to accommodate their guests -Close to many good restaurants, Kroger, and JUBIES ICE CREAM (Probably the best ice cream I've personally ever had) Cons -The Laundry facility on-site isn't the best, spent nearly 8 $ (at 2$ per load) to dry one load of non heavy laundry - The pet fee's are about 1/4th the price of your rent, and have a monthly allowance -Food Delivery is a nightmare in the back lots, some drivers will sooner make a U-Turn than properly locate your apartment and deliver your food. (We've had 3 orders go missing in the span of 2 months) Verdict: While Treeborn Apartments falls short in a few minor area's, the overall experience is fantastic, my Fiancé and I love it here and plan on staying until we are properly hitched and find ourselves our own permanent residence, with around the 750$ range of rent, we are able to build a successful, stable income that is allowing us to create the foundation for a perfect life together Thank you Treeborne for giving us this opportunity to love and grow without hassle

As a Person who escaped Springfield searching for my Fortune, I did visit Springfield during the Summers . From what I could see Dover Place tried to keep up with maintenance. I believe they may have been a bit short handed and could have benifted from another Maintenance man or two. Mom seemed happy for the most part. The lawn was kept mowed in the summer when I visited. Mom lived in a small one bedroom apartment with an open floor design. The Kitchen was small with adequate cupboard space for a Single Senior, a small 4 burner stove and oven, a small refrigerator freezer a small sink and a small pantry,The dining area was basically a few feet of space that had room for a small table and 4 chairs The living room had barely enough space for her entertainment center, reclining chair a sofa and a chair with ottoman. Mom kept a couple bird feeders in front of her Living room window. there was also a small patio where she had a picnic table but from what I saw rarely saw any use.. There was onsight Laundry room where her care providers did her laundry. The sight also had a centralized mail station with locking mail boxes That's purdy much all I remember.

I lived in these apartments for a little under a year. When we looked at them I will say they are…read moreVERY roomy. The allow pets for an added fee that is affordable. The apartments seemed very clean and the rental manager was super friendly. Before moving in Shelly ( the apartment manager) told us that there was a bad patch on the carpet in the living room due to the previous renters knocking over a bong and the coals burnt the carpet. No big deal we figured it was documented and we wanted to move in ASAP due to being due with our first child soon. When we moved in the problems started. The apartment constantly smelled like cigarettes and weed from the other tenants. The hot water almost never worked because people could go into the shared laundry room and shut it off if they wanted. other neighbors were super noisy. People getting into fights and getting arrested all hours of the night our parking spots were always taken and our vehicles were constantly broken into. management never once seemed to worry about placing a camera out for security. Then came the roaches. apparently the building had this problem for sometime and didn't even bother to mention it. they came out weekly to spray for them but it did no good the building was crawling with these flying German cockroaches, which you can imagine was great with a premature newborn. Then one morning we woke up and found a bed bug on our closet door. We had someone inspect our apartment and there were no others in our apartment. There were plenty in the apartment above us and in the apartment down the hall. they treated the apartments surrounding us and tried to have us pay the bill since we found the problem they said we had to be the ones who brought them in. they ended up charging another apartment near us for it. Then we fell on hard times and our rent was 3 days late. Mind you this was the only time we were ever late. We came home to find an eviction notice on our door. We were more than happy to comply to get our child away from all the nasty roaches and bugs so we moved out in the 3 day period and I deep cleaned the apartment. We came back the next day and paid he rent that was late since we did live there that month and left. I received a call from Shelly asking why we moved out. I told her about the eviction notice and she said that it was not meant for us. It had our names on it and everything. Well we were gone we had the notice incase she tried anything. Well here we are a few years down the road trying to buy our first home and low and behold there is a collection open in my name and my name only (my husband and mother were co signers on the lease and it does not show in their names) saying I owe almost $2,000.00 for remainder of lease (apartment was rented out again less than a month after I moved which I know because I had friends still living in the building) a fee for insufficient notice of moving(wouldn't an eviction notice be a notification of moving?) a cleaning fee( Shelly said the apartment was completely trashed and took months to have ready to re rent out.) And a carpet replacement fee(Shelly also denied the bong incident and said it was brand new carpet when we moved in. there was a patch that would need repaired but we had it priced before leaving and the people said it was an easy under $100 fix which our $475.00 security deposit should have well covered.) The kicker was she told the collections agency they needed extra money because we had pets in our apartment and they have a strict no pet policy and we snuck them in. However we paid extra every month for them and an extra $225.00 pet deposit (not included in the security deposit mentioned earlier). Our neighbors above us had3 dogs and 2 cats. below us ad 1 dog and one cat. beside us had 1 dog. the place has always had pets. Their website even mentions being pet friendly. This place is riddled with roaches has bed bugs very noisy not safe for kids run by liars and thieves. Do not live here or be fooled by Shelly's kindness. This place is disgusting and living here is the biggest mistake I have ever made
