Both the drivers for Garrys one of which is Garry himself are both polite easy to get on with friendly people. The taxis are always clean, and you never have a long wait when you ring for a taxi unless its around school times but that is standard for any taxi company in Louth, it is near on impossible to get a taxi around school drop off and pick up times due to them having school contracts. Garrys have recently put their prices up and are now slightly more expensive than some of the others with a one way trip anywhere in Louth costing £3.00 during the day at night it is now a metered rate.

When you first enter the hotel it seems a bit old fashioned, i guess it reminded me a bit of my nans house! I guess the hotel is more geared towards the older guest. Paula and Steve did their very best to help me while i was at the hotel providing me with local information and attractions and things that i could do with the children. They were also willing to entertain one of the children whilst i sorted the other out if i needed them to i didnt even need to ask! I only ever had breakfast at the Rufford and being as my children were both under 2 at the time breakfast time was very centered around them but it was made as easy as possible for me. By the time we came down to breakfast their breakfast would be there and ready along with a highchair! All the food that enters the dining room is home cooked in the hotels kitchen by themselves. All rooms have ensuite, televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a television in the lounge for residents use, aswell as the dining room and the bar where drinks are reasonably priced. On the whole the Rufford is a very enjoyable experience, the staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and well presented. I was actually sad to leave! The prices are on par with others in Skegness, and in my opinion it is well worth every penny.

They don't try to rip you off either- the price is always fair. My family went on a trip to Cairo- to see main tourist attractions (museum, boat trip on the river nile, pyramids). We had our own guide who was clearly very intelligent, however information was mostly lost on me. I went more for the sake of going, however it was useful for there to be that information. Throughout the trip we were all very well looked after, and I'd say it was 100% worth the journey of Cairo from Sharm El Sheikh. The trip was very well organised and stress free. I would thoroughly recommend this company, and Aladdin to anybody looking to do any kind of trips or excursions. My grandad enjoyed his time diving with this company as well.

Quad biking & Day trip to Luxor from Hurghada…read more We booked 2 different tours in Hurghada with Sharm Wonders. First one was a private quad safari as a family of 4, 2 adults a teenager and a 9 year old which was absolutely awesome! We were picked up from our hotel in an air conditioned mini bus and were dropped at the start of our trip where we were greeted by Omar. He sat with us, chatted with the children and explained everything. He got us water, sorted our scarves, goggles and helmets for the trip and talked to us about Hurghada safari and the Red sea desert. We had a little photo shoot prior to setting off on our adventure through the desert with our additional guide Khaled who knows the dessert and the terrain so well. We had a little break and a photo half way to our destination. We arrived at the village where Omar came over with water for us, sat us down in the tent provided and chatted with us about the local village and people living there. We drank local tea but opted out of the sheesha, Omar was able to answer all our questions and had lots of banter with the children, his English was excellent. We then had out camel ride and experienced some of the local talents at the supermarket where they were making sand bottles. We headed back through the dessert where our adventure ended... we needed cooling off and lots of water which Omar sorted. We can't recommend this trip enough...We recommend doing it privately as a family instead of a large mixed group with mixed nationalities . Omar was amazing and really looked after us! He is such an asset to the company. Our second was a Day trip to Luxor from Hurghada by road, our driver Hamdy was excellent and our guide Marwa for the day was Aamazing who was a font of knowledge, from start to end there was nothing I could fault with this trip . I would highly recommend using these guys for such this Tours and taking the time out to do this trip even though it's an early start you will be glad you went .Can't recommend Sharm Wonders Tours enough but simply, great trips, fantastic guides and professional service . Thank you Omar, Khaled, Hamy & Marwa for making it an amazing Holiday for our family in Egypt.

A long way past lunchtime and having just driven a long way from home, we literally dropped our…read moreluggage off at our hotel and went in search of some sustenance. The Lodge Hotel, is also a pub and restaurant, and but a short walk from our hotel in picturesque Old Hunstanton. Initial signs were good, the Commonwealth Games were showing on a large screen at the end of the bar area, the radio playing a selection of decent tunes and a hugely impressive bar selection, which also had a section promoting World Beers. The restaurant was utterly deserted, so we sat in the bar area to eat our lunch, a good mix of sofa type seating and large tables with comfortable leather backed chairs. There is also a sizeable outdoor area, with seats both under a canopy and picnic type benches with parasols, in what was a well kept and sun drenched garden. We only really wanted a snack, so we both had a coffee and shared a BLT, with lemon mayo, an accompanying dressed side salad and skinny fries. All very fresh and tasty, and a good strong cup of coffee. A great place to wile away an hour or so. We were so impressed, we promptly booked a table for the evening. When we arrived in the evening, the Lodge was much busier, both inside and out, a little bit of its lunchtime charm had ebbed away. Still undaunted we looked through the sizeable menu, all the old favourites like fish and chips, steak and gammon were there, along with more unusual dishes like a Keralan Curry, and Crab and Crayfish Linguine. Resisting my natural urge to try the Lodge Burger, I went for the Chicken fajitas, not cheap at £14 (£3 extra for the chicken) and my wife went for the Melanzane Parmigiana, a dish of grilled aubergines and courgettes, in a tomato sauce, with a mixed salad. The dishes arrived promptly, my wife's vegetarian dish looked good, but sadly the taste didn't match, quite bland really. The fajitas arrived de-constructed, chicken sizzling on skillet with green, red and yellow peppers, along with onion, as well as small amounts of guacamole, sour cream, cheddar and salsa. Tortillas were plentiful, but tasteless, the whole dish was OK, nothing particularly wrong with it, making my own dinner was fun, I guess. The accompanying Lindeboom Pilsener from the Netherlands was refreshing and went down smoothly on a hot summer's evening, but the dinner had not lived up to the chilled out promise of the lunch.
