We are so grateful for Kiddie Academy of Delran! As a first-time Mom I searched high and low for…read morethe best daycares in the area for a variety of reasons: distance, school standards, quality of teachers, teacher to child ratios, cleanliness, price, safety, peanut free facility, and overall vibe. From the beginning I had a good feeling about KA! We knew we were going to have to send our daughter to daycare from the young age of 3 months, so I was not willing to settle. I would be lying if I didn't say it was an adjustment period. As a mom you know what you like, and when you're giving your child over to someone new, it takes time to become comfortable with the style of care. Again, first time mom problems! (lol) Ms. Mary was so patient with all of my questions, concerns, and everything in between! I'll admit, I can be an annoying overprotective mom. There have been a few incidents that have occurred during my daughter's time at KA, but Ms. Mary and the rest of the directors were SO accommodating to our needs. I can't say enough great things about all of the teacher our daughter has had so far. Ms. Michelle in the puppies is a seasoned professional and handles our girl with care at the young age of 3 months. Our daughter (we will call her AHK) learned how to sit up, crawl, and eat while in Ms. Michelle's class. Ms. Michelle is so sweet and loving. We love getting to see her everyday in the hallway! AHK then moved onto the cubs with Ms. Latoya. I don't have enough space here to talk about our infinite appreciation for Ms. Latoya- she has a true love and passion for teaching and made our girl feel SO at home during a tough transition. Shout out to teaching AHK how to walk up and down the halls of daycare! Ms.Carol was a pivotal part of our daughter's development. AHK learned some of her first words, lots of sign language, and many nursery rhymes while under Ms.Carol's supervision. Ms.Carol is extremely caring and patient and truly helped AHK come out of her shell. Without Ms.Carol, AHK would not have had such a smooth transition to the Turtles classroom. Of all things, AHK loved Ms.Carol's morning hugs! AHK is a shy girl, but Ms. Dynaisha has welcomed her to the Turtles classroom with open arms. Ms. Dynaisha has already taught AHK so many things, like sitting in seat during circle time and how to identify her feelings. Additionally, AHK loves squirrel watching with Ms. Dynaisha on the playground and all the fun art projects she gets to make in class! In addition to AHK's amazing Lead Teachers, I would love to give a huge shout out to all of the assistants and floaters. They ALL know Astra and show equal as much love and patience. We are so fortunate to call KA of Delran "home" until AHK moves onto Elementary School. *cue the tears*

I highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Delran (KAD) to care for your child (children). My son started…read morewith KAD when he was 7 months old. As a new mom, I was very hesitant to send him to daycare due to all the negative news regarding daycare centers; however, KAD has exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for transparency, timely communication and caring teachers for your little one, this is the place. My son is now 2.5 years old and is thriving! He has surpassed all his " age appropriate milestones" and is such a well mannered little boy. KAD's curriculum is top notch while giving free play to the children. My son is so happy and I could not imagine removing him from this center. My daughter will be joining the center soon and I trust that KAD will care for her just the same.

Inclusive and accommodating, this place is not. I had registered my kiddos for Newman based on the…read moreowner's background and education. While they were enrolled for summer camp 2025, communication started in February on my end as my one child does have needs that require support. I provided IEPs, communications about him having and aide with him for part of the day and all of the tools necessary for them to be successful (allergy safe snacks, noise cancelling headphones, sensory toys, special books and projects, etc). On day 1 - I wish I had walked out and never went there again, but everyone is an expert with hindsight. At dropoffs week 1 the main teacher for summer camp, Miss Marissa, showed no interest in interacting with my child or listening on how to support my child with the most basics of needs. When I was giving her specific instructions on day 2 she stopped listening and did not even acknowledge my child to play with her own child. When I reported this to the owner, it was confirmed by another employee..... who was soon let go. During the short time (3.5 weeks) my kids attended camp the thing I received the most contact about was if items that the school wanted to provide foodwisw were safe because of food allergies; I packed snacks daily due to food allergies so there was absolutely no need for food to be provided by the school. There was never how can we support your child, it was always encouraging his aide to keep him at a separate table like an outcast and the wanting to know what time was I going to be there instead of making any effort to make NELC feel safe for him. I offered so many resources and insights and no effort on their end was made. My child's tutor also reached out to offer resources and training and NELC wanted me to pay for any additional support. The owner made it a point to tell me when she had to come in early or leave later because of my child. Several days at pickup there was a child stimming; Miss Marissa regularly told him to stop and find a book to read. Again, another sign I should've followed my gut and stopped sending my kids. Daycares in general have shifted and I was so hopeful for a new small business in a local town; instead we found a place that discriminates, antagonized a child with needs when they were told daily that the child needs to feel safe and actively recruits child with special needs to attend. The 2 teachers that bonded with my kiddo when he was where short term employees and left after interacting with my child and reporting all good things. I am sharing this as for a childcare center for your average child it may be fine, but for kiddos with ANY needs- steer clear as 5 months after pulling my child we are still navigating the trauma associated with NELC and how the owner Patty and Marissa treated him. He was there for 30 minutes 2 days a week without an aide and in that short time they completely ignored him when he needed help and didn't even attempt to support basic needs to keep my child safe. The last day my kids went I came home to finding out that there was a physical interaction between my kids that day that I never received any notification about. I immediately pulled my kids that night and was told I was responsible for several weeks of tuition and disbelief that I was pulling my kids. No mention of physical interaction between my kids or any issues that day; fast forward the following week when the state went out to investigate after they were no longer enrolled I received a incident report my child with severe food allergies ingested non-food a week prior.

The care they received was average for babysitters, however I do not think many of the "teachers" are experienced in child development. The way I heard some of the teachers yell and talk to the children is totally uncalled for. Cleanliness is not a priority at this facility which was my daughters last straw in deciding to remove her to kids. My grandkids were continuously getting sick which we understand will and can occur when a child is exposed to germs everyday in a facility like a daycare. However, once I came across their inspection report from the health department and saw that they were cited numerous times for the same issue over the years. We decided this place is filthy.

In addition, we get the BEST art projects from school. The office staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful. The building is clean and well maintained. Everything has just been so easy having my kids enrolled at Apple Child Care Center. I feel so lucky that we found them. The best part about this school is that I feel good about leaving my children there everyday. They are safe and happy and well taken care of.

Accepting children…read morefrom infant to Pre-K age, my daughter has attended this center for the last 4 yrs ending her time here with a wonderful Pre-K graduation celebration. I already plan to enroll her in their summer program designed for school aged children at their second facility close by! My daughter has learned soo much over the last 4 years. She has absolutely LOVED all of her teachers as well which makes her experience there that much more rewarding. At the young age of 3 not long after beginning her journey at this location and her initial journey at an actual childcare facility in general she was having a blast and learning to LOVE school and increasing her levels of education along with her social skills. She quickly came out of her shell making friends and growing into a fun and personable young girl. She was quickly counting to 10 in both English AND Spanish, singing the alphabet and learning songs and lessons that amazed me for such a young girl. Everyday there were set plans and lessons along with daily classroom updates for the parents. We were involved in her educational experience from day one. The center runs class trips and hosts school picture opportunities as well as parent teacher conferences. I truly couldn't be happier with my decision to choose this center. She is now completing her final summer before heading off to Kindergarten and it is such a great feeling as a parent to know that she is socially and educationally prepared for the new journey she is about to have. She received a spot at a top charter school and I was sooo proud to learn her admission exam results stated that our daughter excelled in every area they tested on and she met all of the requirements for not only the things she is expected to know by the start of the new school year but the things that they expect them to know by the middle of their kindergarten year! The teachers are so nice and inform you of EVERYTHING. You know when you drop your child off here that they are in great hands and well taken care of at all times. Their communication with the parents is outstanding and the activities and events that they do to include the parents and families is equally outstanding. If your child misses mommy and daddy no need to worry, there is at least 3-4 pictures in his/her classroom of their family and pets from the very beginning. Sunshine Learning Academy exceeded my expectations after the first month of attendance and still continues to do so each week as my daughter still comes home every day telling me all about the new things she has learned that day. I am truly going to miss this place and the amazing and caring staff that employees it. The teachers here are incredibly inspirational and have taught my daughter educational skills as well as life skills she can carry with her throughout her future. The teachers there aren't just there for a paycheck you can definitely tell that they are there because of their love for our young children and their passion to want to give them a great education and prepare them for their next educational journey. We will definitely be back to visit, my daughter is already planning her future visits even though she is still attending the center part time until she is ready to begin Kindergarten this September. The smart, personable and respectful young girl my daughter has grown to be has A LOT to do with her educational journey at Sunshine Learning Academy over the last 4 years. She has broken out of her shell and comfort zone and has made friends and built relationships and memories with both children and adults that will definitely last a lifetime. If you live or work the Mayfair/Northeast Philadelphia area and are looking for child care or after school care then I HIGHLY recommend that you set up a tour of Sunshine Learning Academy as soon as possible. Their classes do fill up quickly (the best schools always do) but I am confident that any parent will be extremely happy with their child's experience here.
