I was so anxious I wouldn't be able to find this place because the only tip is "behind Costco" but truly, they are just literally right behind Costco. I showed up at 1:00pm on a Sunday (don't do that - they have a lunch break from 1-1:30) so I did some quick shopping before parking right behind Costco, grabbing a couple different sorting bins for my recyclables, waited in a line of 5 people for about 10 minutes, and was done! I don't know why the bad reviews are there, but this is literally the most convenient place to recycle bottles.

Perfect little spot! I came here this morning and was greeted by the two nicest young gentlemen who assisted me in separating my materials. It is a little different than replanet as they separate plastic and aluminum in orange mesh bins and glass in blue trash cans. The line was a little intimidating but the speed and consistency of those boys made it go down unbelievably fast! They also pay cash which is superb! Will keep returning here! I usually get there right when they open. Sometimes they are unable to accept my plastic #1 bottles or glass because there containers are full. On a hot day there are lots of bees around, since they are right next to trees. The 2 guys working there are nice as can be and fast. I let an elderly man, wearing a USMC hat & with just 1 bag of recycling , go first and got yelled at by the other 2 customers waiting behind me. I think the worker gave me an extra dollar for putting up the 2 angered customers. I could tell because the math in my head was a dollar less, than what I got. I would give them 5 stars but they don't always take my glass bottles. read more

I had my cans and bottles separate but the kid asked me to put it in the same basket... then he had me separate them... maybe this guy is playing a trick on me but then Again he doesn't speak English and seems like he's having a tough life so I donated 100 cans and bottles to him and wished him best of luck with life. My advice to anyone who wants to recycle is find another location if you have larger amounts. read more

This is the third day in a row I've come to them to try and recycle. I've come at different times. Sometimes 3:30, sometimes 130, sometimes 1130. All 3 days in a row they are unable to take plastics. They're just unable to visualize how many they have and how sooon they will be full. It's annoyingly because I planned this into my day 3 days in a row now and this place can't even function right once. Thank you yelp for letting me vent. I will be looking for a new recycling spot. read more

This is one of the few recycling places left in the area! I went around 11 am on Wednesday and the line was short. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They pay you cash on the spot! read more

I wish I could give them NO stars. I have gone to this location multiple times since it's right next to Costco. The man that runs it is EXTREMELY RUDE and a BULLY. I was standing in line and I see empty baskets so I proceeded to use for my bottle so I can get it ready since the person in front of my was ready. He saw me grabbing the basket and he goes where are you in line and I showed him my position he goes no go back and wait for your turn! All the people in line saw this and the gentleman behind me went forward and grabbed basket and brought it to me. and the SAME man that stopped me didn't say anything to him. He stood there and started laughing with his colleague. Once I filled the whole basket he comes to me and say to take out the item all the way in the bottom. He waited for me to fill it all then come and tell me. HE IS A COMPLETE BULLY AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Whoever owns the place should pay attention to their business. If you can't provide customer service, there is no reason for staying in business. read more

I used to use a recycling place in Mission Viejo, but after it closed i had to find a new place, abd after looking this place up i decided to give it a shot. I've been here about 10 times and have allways had good interactions and good customer service. read more

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Guy at center gave 3 bill of $5. As soon I reach to my vehicle I saw 2 of the bills almost half n half torn. When I went back, guy said you should have checked here itself now he can't do anything as he thinks I might have changed bills. read more

We were hesitant to use this recycling center based on the poor reviews, but it was convenient since it is literally in the Costco parking lot where we often shop. But convenience aside, our experience was wonderful for the young man who assisted us, Miguel, was both friendly and very helpful. This is definitely our new go-to place for recycling!!! read more

I didn't realize this place is in the back of Costco, past their tire center. When I went there, there were 4 people in front of me but the guys that worked there were efficient and quickly took care of each person, and by the time I unloaded my recycle items in their trash can container, it was my turn. The guy placed it on a scale and told me how much it was worth and gave me the money, and I was done. read more

This Is my favorite place to go . It can get hectic with random rush of people but every time I have gone the two young gentlemen always work hard to move the line. I love that it's organized by putting plastic in Orange bins and glass in blue bins and aluminum in orange bins all separated. This place is the most friendly and honest recycle spot I know .... if you shop at Costco just drive all the way to the back , they did mention We have to find a parking spot open but there was room when I got there. I recommended this place to all especially now that most are closed and had rude staff but not here ! read more

Tried this for the first time today. Very nice workers, very accommodating BUT!!!!! He took my plastic container of 50 glass bottles and put them aside while I counted my plastic bottles then forgot to include the value of glass bottles in my total refund. So they made $2.50 off my glass bottles. How can I get my missing $2.50? read more

This place takes your money can easily be taking 10 dollars plus depending on how much you bring of your pocket that belongs to you. The more you bring the more they figure they can jiff you. I grabbed my phone to start putting how much the net weigh is and when noticing I was writing the weights the sir moved the machine facing him instead so I wouldn't see like dude really? I have a right to know what I'm bringing in as well as anyone else reading this. I recommend taking out your phones to establish the weights and or if its posted on the site because I saw the picture posted on prices for recycling on their Yelp site, or there on the property they figure no one is paying attention but omg hell if you are like how dare you question and that's why. Already moving the weight machine tells they are guilty of not wanting you to pay attention and taking your money away. They already make bank with what you are recycling hence they take it to an actual recycling center to get more of the actual profit. So they are still not even giving you what you fully deserve regardless the visit. If it's a bad visit it's not their problem in giving you what you deserve for your recycling. My weight was a total of 16lb of aluminum which they posted on their site for 1.65 lb my total was 26.4$. Platic 5.5lb at 1 26lb which was 6.93$ and glass at 8lb for .104lbSo right there did the math and its 34.162$ they only gave me 28.03$. And to put that cherry on top I had about 4 bottles that had some soda and the sir dumped it out but tossed the cap on the ground. Last time I checked that cap is part of the bottle to recycle but did that because of weigh. read more
