They spent a large amount of time going through my yellow brass trying to decide what to do and eventually decided to give me 24 cents a pound for a nicer 50# bucket of brass that other places pay more that 2 a pound for. I had another 200# of ACR to scrap so got back into line at 10:30 so I could load up another cart. 30 minutes later a lady goes through the line and tells more people than I saw turn scrap in the whole time I was there that they are shutting down. They either need faster a faster process or need to set up a second scale. They spend quite a bit of time scrutinizing and could probably do quite a bit more volume if they had their act together. I will return to scrap somethings there but not brass or ACR.

We have been customers for 13 years at the same address, but that didn't seem to matter to her. Secondly, my husband has advanced stage COPD and congestive heart failure and is in the hospital often, so he must've missed the bill. No matter to them that because my husband is on 5 liters of oxygen 24/7 our grandsons came to put the yard waste out and we can't very well leave it curbside for a week, nor can we store it for a week. So, now my husband and I had a neighbor help us load the 6 bags of yard waste into our truck and my husband has driven it out to Belton where he'll drag his oxygen bottle and the hose to his nose to unload and empty the bags THEY should've picked up. UNBELIEVABLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! We paid them for this year, but will be looking for a different service.

I had some metal stored up in my garage that I didn't want to throw away. I took it to City Scrap…read moremetal and got a few bucks for it. Their operation is set up efficiently. You pull up and are met by an employee who helps you unload your car and put everything on the scale. The employee that helped me was Tyrell. He was very friendly and professional and made the transaction very smooth. After you unload you pull your car around the side of the building, park and go inside to the cashier to get your money. Just make sure you have an ID with you.
