Absolute WORST therapy appointment I've ever had. Dr. Stragner made sure to ruin my experience when…read moreit comes to receiving therapy. To start off this shoddy experience, I showed up to my appt. before it was scheduled and was left to do paperwork for more than 20 minutes (20 minutes of my appt. time), and only received 36 minutes out of the hour I should have received since he cut our appt. a little short after all of our time was already wasted. If that doesn't scream unprofessionalism... just wait, there's more. In those 36 minutes Dr. Stagner was astonishingly able to diagnose me!!!! One that was amazingly incorrect and incredibly unwanted. So not only is Dr. Stagner completely unprofessional but also kind of an asshole, if I'm being blunt. He encouraged me to handle my mental health issues by telling me to just "manage my emotions"... if only it were that easy huh Doc? Any professional should know most mental health disorders are very CHEMICAL rather than CHOOSING to have said disorder. So to hear this news from a "professional", was very disheartening and hurtful. I beg you... if you have real mental health issues/disorders, avoid Dr. Stagner at all costs. No one dealing with the pain that comes with depression, anxiety, or is even dealing with suicidal thoughts should have to deal with an uneducated professional such as himself.
